"Cause stupid's next to I love you." -The Weeknd

"Wait so he just showed up out of no where, leaning against your car like a creep?" I gave a simple nod to my best friend not really interested in the conversation. The only reason that Maggie knows that my brother showed up the way he did was because I woke up at 3:00 in the morning when my brother came into my room. I felt him watching me and I heard him walking closer to the bed where he grabbed the covers and pulled them back up over me since I have a habit of kicking them off.

He leaned in and gave me a kiss on the forehead where he whispered, "I am so sorry Amnesia."

It took everything inside of me to remain still and not scream out crying. Once I was sure he left the room, I felt the tears come poring out of my eyes and batting my lashes wasn't going to stop them this time. It was the type of crying you had to cover your mouth with a pillow.

Yeah it was that type of crying.

I then proceeded to call Maggie. I was hysterical and I told her I needed her to come over asap. She snuck out of her house and climbed through my window and long story short we ended up having a sleep over where I told her everything from Gregory showing up at my work, to him coming into my room.

"Maybe you should talk to him-" when I say i was saved by the bell I mean I was saved by the bell. Well the school bell.

I gave Maggie a wave good bye and attempted to squeeze my way through the crowds of kids to make it to my English class.

"You know you can't avoid it forever!" I turned back and before I could respond Maggie had already begun walking away. "No but I'll sure try my damn best!" You could hardly hear my faint attempt of a scream over the loudness of the stampede that were my peers trying to get to class. Instead of provoking our little screaming conversation I decided to leave it at this and head to my English class.

"Amnesia!" My eyes went wide as my English teacher, Ms. Russo, was staring daggers into me.

"Quit daydreaming and pay attention!" I nodded but I knew I would just go straight back to daydreaming.

I couldn't help but think about Gregory and what he said last night.

"I'm so sorry Amnesia."

Did I go too far? I mean maybe there was a reason he left so suddenly without saying goodbye. I couldn't even look at him in the face once I finished saying those words to him last night.

However the thought of him having a perfectly reasonable explanation for leaving was cut out of my mind faster then light. There's no excuse for just leaving your family behind.

"You know you're still daydreaming." I shut my eyes hoping for Grayson to go away. I was hoping and praying for that miracle.

"Why are your eyes shut?" Grayson said with a chuckle.

"I'm silently praying for you to go away."

I opened my eyes after a few moments of his silence. To my horror my eyes revealed him staring at me with a blank look on his face. Why? I have no freaking idea.
