"We don't have to talk, we don't have to dance, we don't have to smile, we don't have to make friends."

"So what are we doing tonight?" I looked to my left to see Maggie with an eager look on her face.

This is what you get on Halloween.

All day people in scary ass costumes had been popping out of no where. I was in no mood for an eager Maggie. "I was actually planning on-"

"And don't say you're planning on staying home." I rolled my eyes playfully at how well my best friend knew me. When I was still in Arizona, we would finish each others sentences over Skype to distract myself from my wonderful little fam-bam.

"Why aren't  you gonna hang out with Jesse?"

"His dumb ass got grounded cause his parents found pot in his backpack." I felt my mouth dry up before she had even finished that sentence. "R-really? I didn't know he did that shit." I tried to keep my voice steady. Surprisingly, I succeeded.

Realization seemed to spread over Maggie's face, "shit! I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you upset or anything, he told me to not tell you." I let out a chuckle. "Seriously Maggie its cool, let's hope Jesse's cool with it too." I said with a teasing smirk as I walked in the other direction towards my English class. "Fuck you Amnesia, aye we're still going out tonight!" I waved bye to Maggie as I turned the corner. She hated when I did that.

Usually on Halloween a lot of people wouldn't come to school because they'd be getting ready for Madison Cukz "big" Halloween party. The thing about Madison was if you got invited, which I hardly did, then you had to go to that party. The last time I went to one of her parties i ended up having to deal with a drunk Maggie since Jesse was too drunk to deal with her. Maggie was the only reason I got into that party and I guess that was my price check. Maggie was really the only reason I got to go to anything party-related.

When I had entered the hallway it was creepily quiet and barren.

Well it was quiet until someone decided to jump out at me.

You're probably thinking that I screamed, just like any other shocked teenage girl would, but you would be oh so wrong. I mean I did scream, but you couldn't really hear it because the sound of my fist making contact with the persons jaw took the dominant sound.

"Fuck!" I couldn't help but burst out laughing at the sight of Grayson holding his jaw as he cussed me out.

"Well why the hell would you scare me like that!" I said as I smacked his shoulder. "I thought you would just scream or pee your pants a little, not fucking hit me!" The giggles started to take over me again. I sobered up once I saw Grayson's very unimpressed face.

"Alright well what do you want Grayson?" He grabbed my elbow and pulled me into a janitors closet.

"God how cheesy can you get?" I asked as I surveyed my eyes over the entire room. "Shut up, look I have a proposal for you-"

"No I will not marry you."

"Jesus do you ever shut up."

"I will once you tell me what you're going on about."

"Alright, well I was going to purpose that we go out and do something crazy tonight." Excitement was all over his body and it made me pretty nauseous. I'm not a Halloween hater I just don't like going out, so I decided to save my ass from having to go out, "Sorry, cant. I already have plans with Maggie, why don't you just hang out with your friends?" I noticed Grayson's eyes glance to the ground. "Because I don't feel like drinking tonight."
