Evan:

"E-Evan? What the hell is he talking about?"
My partner whispered to me under his breath.
The other assassin looked at us, curious.
Wondering what we were going to do.
I pushed Delirious behind me.
We can't lose a leader.
"Daithi, shoot him." I demanded.
Nogla took out the crossbow and aimed it at the man.
"No! Please. I plead to you. My wife and I! She's pregnant. We heard their plans. We're here to help you! Please. You'll lose without them."
Evan started at him.
Tanner fell a couple of stories down and landed next to me, her hair pulled under her black suit and a hood covering her head with a bandana over her mouth.
I stood outside, in my black suit and cloak, my swords on my back, and my hood was almost always down.
Delirious, well, he'd be the last person to fight.
He wore his suit with a matching cloak, but he rarely carried anything other than a knife.
"What plans?" I asked the man.
Nogla didn't lower his gun.
Tanner was in front of him.
I'd say Tanner was the most experienced of all of us except for me.
We were equal in offense, but she was better in defence.
"Their plans for the Rebellion." he said.
Delirious' eyes widened and Tanner made Daithi lower the bow.
"You're from the Phoenix's. We can't trust you. You attacked one of our higher ranks." I told him.
"You attacked my daughter." Tanner said, pulling out a katana.
"No, please. We're here to help. Your side will still lose some fighters. If I reveal all of their plans, you won't lose. You only win."
Tanner looked at me, waiting on my decision.
Nogla and Delirious did as well.
Having the power between life or death is scary.
You don't know if you can ever make the right decision.
"Delirious?"
At times like these, my partner helps greatly.
"Yes, my love?" he asked.
"Kill him or no?" I asked.
He thought.
"With Z and Calibre gone, our chances would already be small. Tyler is absent, too, and Craig would even help in these times. If we listen to him, we could live. Or die. If we didn't, we would probably die. The best thing that could be to do is to trust him."
I sighed.
I made them drop their weapons.
"Where is your partner?"
The man stood up.
"She's around the corner."
"Daithi, go and get her. Tanner, you could help. Delirious and I will deal with him."
The two nodded and the man stood up, (he'd been begging on his knees), and walked with us into the shelter.
He sat down at the table with us.
His pregnant wife was laid down onto the couch.
"You are from the Phoenix's. What's your business here. If what you're talking about it true, if the smaller gangs are going to rebel, why are you here? We don't stand a chance presently." Delirious informed him.
"Your group. While they were alone, not even half of them, may I remind you... They stopped the Firehawks."
The man said.
I jumped from my chair.
"What? My assassins? They defeated the second-large gang?!"
Remarkable! I was so proud!
"Indeed they did... But they lost someone in the process." The man said to me.
My heart sunk.
"W-Who did they lose?!"
One of my students... Gone? Whoever was left of the Firehawks would certainly pay.
"Yes, some of our gang walked in after them. Most of them were drugged, but Ken had passed. A firm arrow in the head." he said.
"That's my girl."
Tanner instantly knew who it was.
Like mother, like daughter.
Even though Z certainly wasn't her daughter, she'd trained her.
"Who passed?" I asked.
Daithi stood up, crying.
"He had darker skin, blackish hair, he was holding a pistol. Shot two times in the stomach..."
Nogla was on the floor now, motionless, tears falling from his cheeks.
Tanner knelt beside him.
"Oh my God..." Delirious muttered, tears flowing down his face, too.
My eyes watered.
But I still had hope.
"Did he like sound different? What did he wear? H-" I was panicking.
No. Couldn't be who I thought it was.
"IT'S CALIBRE, EVAN!" Nogla shouted, Tanner trying to calm him down.
The tears finally escaped my eyes and Nogla screamed out of anger.
"I knew it, I knew it, I fockin knew it! I knew it was Calibre! Why him?! Why the hell not Tyler?! Anyone else, please not Lui."
"Shhh." Tanner put his face in her chest, his tears staining her shirt, but she didn't care.
She rocked him and hummed to him, trying to calm him down.
She'd be a perfect mother...
Too bad we had made her give up that life.
If she hadn't talked to me, hadn't fell in love with me, and I hadn't been so selfish to keep her this long...
She could've been healthy and happy, crime free, with children and a family of her own...
That was all she'd wanted.
"When they return, we will have a memorial for Calibre. Until then, I need to know your name. I want you to pick a trainer. And tell me your reasons. Why you're here. Because you will fight with us, right?" I asked.
He nodded.
"My name's Felix. I'm here to help you, to possibly become a successful assassin like your other students. I believe we can make the neutral gangs fall to our side. Then we fight together. I want to stay here, I want my son or daughter trained here as well. Marzia does, too. She wants to help take care of you guys. We will do anything to protect our daughter or son from the worst. What trainers do you have?"
I smiled.
"There's Tanner, the most experienced one of us all. There's Z, the fastest, bravest of us all. She returns soon. Nogla, the most cautious, creative one of us all. And lastly, there will be Terroriser, the most quiet, organized one of us. We're all unique in one way. For the last few months of training, we all merge together to give you all the appropriate characteristics you'd need." I told him.
He nodded.
"I'll choose Z."
I nodded.
"Excellent choice." Tanner grinned.
"Congratulations Felix, you're now promoted to a Nanette, your code name?"
He grinned.
"Pewdiepie."
He stood up and bowed.
