Z POV:

Memories still haunt me from that day.
The day of war.
It had finally come, and regardless of the years and years dedicated to training, we weren't ready.
The others aren't here to tell this story any longer.
It's all up to me.
I'm all alone.
But that's just how my story ends.

And why am I so happy about being alone?
I'm not.
But they're happy.
So I'm happy.
Regardless of our stories ending on different pages.

Evan POV:

A new baby girl.
"Marzia, what are you going to name her?" I'd asked.
She smiled.
"Presley."
I grinned.
"That is a beautiful name." Delirious said, behind me.
Z walked in, clipping her katana to her belt.
She looked over and saw the small pink newborn with its eyes closed and almost dropped her weapon.
She smiled and walked over.
Marzia grinned as wide as she possibly could.
"Baby Presley."
Z was frozen now, a look that was a mix of happiness and worry etched into her face.
She tossed her katana down at last, and reached for the baby.
But for some reason, she kept stopping.
"Z? Is something wrong?" I asked her.
She shook her head.
"No. Nothing is wrong." she answered.
But I wasn't convinced.
I dropped the matter for her sake though.

Z POV:

Presley.
What an adorable name.
But what would we do with the baby after the war?
Surely we can't just get rid of it.
We have to do something.
I can be the only one to remember, nobody else.
I wouldn't permit it.
Only I can handle the pain...
I don't want anyone else to suffer.
I'd get over it.
But the baby wouldn't remember, would she?
I don't think so.
I couldn't clear her memory... She was a baby.
I don't want to know what could happen to her.
An adult would be able to rehabilitate itself... But a baby?
I pondered the idea.
I was in my room now, straightening my sleeves.
I looked in the mirror.
I almost fell backwards.
A bright flash of light sent me stumbling until I jumped back up and pulled out my gun.
But it was nothing.
Then I looked closer.
Instead of my wild reflection staring back at me, my face covered in dirt and my clothes ripped and torn underneath my armor and weapon supply- there was a girl.
"Oh my God. I'm so sorry." I said, putting my weapons away.
Then I realized that I wasn't actually talking to my sister at all, it was just a mirror.
I had freaked out and pointed a gun at the mirror.
I stood up and walked over to the mirror, looking at it.
She had a pale face with red lipstick on. A white daisy was tucked behind her ear and she was smiling, her brownish-red eyes (it ran in the family), reflecting mounds of joy.
I grinned.
But then I realized that I forgot what she exactly looked like; this wasn't her.
No. Not at all.
Her hair was more... Golden.
And her eyes were more brown and she didn't wear lipstick, regardless of her desire to look elegant.
She smiled wider and she was always covered in bruises and scrapes.
She was afraid of mirrors, so she didn't look into them.
I forgot my own sister!
No!
How could I?!
I almost screamed, but a knock ran out on my door.
"Yes?" I asked.
"It's Evan," He said.
"Let me in."
I walked over and opened the door.
Delirious was right behind him, never far behind.
They were like magnets.
They always moved in one, single, individual unit.
"Z, I need you to do something." Evan said.
"Yes, Master?" I asked.
"No. Not 'Master.' Don't call me that, I've never ordered you guys to. I'm still Evan, your good old friend, Evan." He said.
Delirious nodded.
"Anyways, we need you to go with Tanner and Daithi to check out their camp. Bring Tyler, too. The Firehawks are going to be tough to beat. We at least need to know the size of their army." He said.
I sighed.
"Okay."
"Thank you." Delirious said, smiling.
I'd never been too close to Delirious.
He's always been more of the nervous, quiet one.
He loved us all unconditionally though.
We all did.
I hugged the two of them and headed out to the lobby.
Tanner and Daithi were waiting for me out in the lobby.
Tyler came in, soon, too.
Mini was still asleep, so he couldn't tag along.
We soon headed outside and gathered around.
"Okay. Listen, here's what we're gonna do..." I said.
"Excuse me? Since when do you give orders?" Tyler said.
I looked at him.
"Since I'm not a peasant like you, I get to give out commands. Wanna die? Go ahead. But there's one reason I am here, Princess..." I said, holding out a rope to him.
"I'm here to kill enemies. Not tolerate them."
