"I'll change just for you."
A blaring alarm rang from my nightstand and I reached over to silence my iPhone. Seven o'clock it read and I realized it was Monday. Meaning it was the first day of school.
I had to stifle a groan so I wouldn't wake up my roommates. Grabbing a towel and my toiletry bag I went to go take a shower. There were already a few girls using the showers. After finishing my shower, I went to the sinks and began brushing my teeth followed by brushing through my hair. When I was finally done, I made my to the door when someone bumped their shoulder roughly against mine.
"Watch where you're going." Sierra snapped. She went to the sink and pulled out her toothbrush.
An idea popped into my mind. Forming a starbolt in my hand, I aimed it then shot it towards where she was brushing her teeth. My starbolt grazed her lips but struck her toothbrush. It clattered into the sink, splattering toothbrush across her T-shirt.
She looked at me, her eyes narrowed towards me.
"My bad." I shrugged before exiting the room and going back to my dorm. Angelina was sitting up on her bed stretching her arms above her head.
"Morning." She yawned, "Ready for your first day?"
"Yeah. I'm a little nervous though." I admitted pulling on my blue lace boy shorts underneath my towel followed on by my nude strapless bra. I found a loosely fitted dark green tank top, paired with some black jeans and my dark brown combat boots. My hair was in loose waves framing my heart shaped face quite nicely.
"You better pack some workout clothes for combat training. Coach won't like it if you don't come prepare to class." Angelina said fixing her cream colored shirt. I nodded and grabbed a loose orange shirt, some black cotton shorts, and my Nikes.
"Is Logan going to wake up anytime soon?" I questioned looking at her sleeping figure still curled up in the sheets.
"She usually wakes up twenty minutes before class starts. It doesn't take her a long time to get ready." Angelina replied.
She wore a cream colored top that showed a sliver of skin near the top of her jeans. She paired it with some light brown ankle booties. Her hair was straightened to perfection.
I applied some eyeliner to my eyes, a few coats of mascara to my lashes, and a nude lipstick onto my lips.
"What's your first class?" Angelina asked me. I grabbed the schedule I had placed in one of the drawers in my nightstand.
1st Period English
2nd Period Psychology
3rd Period World History
4th Period Combat Training
Lunch
5h Period Pre-Calculus
6th Period Advanced Combat Techniques
7th Period Biology
8th Period Health
"I have English with Mr. Richards." I answered stuffing my schedule into my bag.
"I have him too. Let's go get some breakfast before class." Angelina said, grabbing her own bag. We walked outside and saw people holding their cups of coffee. We made our way to the coffee shop and waited a few minutes to order. In a few minutes, Jonathan had handed our coffee and sweets and we began eating them.
"I heard Mr. Richards can be tough but only when he needs to be." Angelina reported.
Our class was pretty far from the coffee shop so we walked quickly to it. Once we reached it we picked two desks next to each other in the middle of the classroom. There were a few other people, who I hadn't met yet who were choosing their own seats.
