"Touch me, Justin."
I was walking with Justin after eighth period was over. Usually I'd be rushing to get to my dorm and get ready for cheer practice, but Angelina sent me a text saying that practice was canceled due to Blair being in the clinic. She had apparently contracted a stomach bug and was puking her guts out.
Justin had practice for soccer but he insisted he wanted to walk me back halfway.
"So I was thinking..." He began.
"Yeah?"
"I was wondering if you wanted to go to the waterfall after the game on Friday. You know, like a date?"
I smiled, "I'd like that."
Justin turned towards me and quickly leaned in and kissed my lips, he gently molded his lips with mine and I found myself blushing at the action.
"Seal it with a kiss and it comes true." He whispered to me. His thumb came up and swept along my cheek.
"If you're wondering what my answer is after the date, I think you already know what it is. You don't have to worry about me saying no."
"I'm not worried Angel. I just need excuses to kiss you before you're actually my girl." He explained before pecking my nose, making it scrunch up.
Leaning up to his ear by the tips of my toes I whispered into his ear, "You can kiss your angel anytime." I paused, grinning to myself, "And anywhere." Pulling away from him, I saw him biting his lip, and I batted my eyelashes at him.
"You better get to practice before Coach gets mad at you." I told him.
"I'll see you after practice." He pecked my cheek quickly before jogging away.
Smiling to myself, I touched my lips with my fingers and my teeth clamped down on my bottom lip.
No wonder Sierra doesn't want to admit that she's lost him. He's a great kisser.
You're barely figuring that out? My mind scoffed. I could see her standing with her hands on her hips and giving me an exasperated look.
Shut up.
Walking back to my dorm, I threw my bag onto the floor and changed from my tank top to a loose t-shirt I found in my drawer. Angelina was probably with Carter and Logan was with Jonathan. I laid on my bed, staring up at the ceiling and I started to think about my first day here. I had seen Justin from afar, shirtless, and had automatically noticed his tattoos. I found myself grinning at the memory. He was practicing his boxing and I remember when our eyes locked.
Did he even remember that?
The memory disappeared when my phone began to vibrate in my pocket. Fishing it out, I saw that my mother was calling me. I accepted it.
"Hey, mom." I greeted.
"Oh my baby. I miss you. I was hoping I would catch you."
"Yeah, I'm just in my dorm right now. How's dad?"
"Oh he's fine. He's out in the yard playing with Bo. I'll call him in if you want to talk to him."
"It's okay. I was just wondering."
We talked for what seemed forever. I told her about Angelina and I being cheerleaders, how I was doing well in school and that I was learning how to use my powers. Near the end of the discussion she asked the dreaded question.
"Allie, are you seeing someone?" She asked thoughtfully. I could picture her holding the phone with both hands, bracing herself for the answer.
I didn't know what to say. I could lie and tell her no but then I could tell her the truth.
