Chapter Two

"This bitch needs to learn who she's messing with."

Harsh sunlight penetrated the windows near my bed and landed on my face. I grumbled in response and turned my body away.It was no use, it had already woken me up.

Tossing the sheets away from me, I stood up and stretched my arms above my head. Logan and Angelina were still asleep.

The girls had a mini fridge installed in the room and Logan always had it complete with snacks and drinks. I snatched myself a water bottle. I looked outside and saw the courtyard completely empty.

I took a swig of my water.

Suddenly something in the courtyard caught my eye.

Someone in black shirt was moving across the courtyard swiftly. I followed him with my eyes and he climbed up the school wall that was meant to keep us in. He disappeared into the forest.

Was he trying to escape the Academy?

My curiosity struck.

Where was he going?

My interest got the better of me and I decided to follow him.I was still in my pajamas and quickly put on my brown UGG boots.Silently opening the window,I was careful not to make a noise and wake up my roommates, I flew out.

I left the window a couple of centimeters open for when I had to sneak back in.I lowered myself to the ground. Making sure no one saw me, I flew to where I had seen the boy go. Flying over the wall, I found myself looking into the vast forest.There was a thin trail and I instinctively followed it by soaring above the ground.

A voice somewhat near broke the eerie silence of the forest. It was a male's voice.

I flew closer, making sure I was safely hidden behind a bush.

There were two males one with bronze hair and the other with dark hair in a clearing.

I instantly recognized the one with bronze hair from the gym.

"I thought I told you I didn't want to put up with this bullshit, Dex."The tan one said.

"Neither did I. But you know we have to,Justin. You know we couldn't have discussed this back at the dorms somebody would have snitched on us." The one who was Dex retaliated.

"I would've dealt with them."A menacing grin etched on Justin,then a burst of fire and flames shot from his hand into a pile of wood.

"Still having anger issues Justin?" A third voice interrupted and boy with brown hair and stunning blue eyes like mine appeared in the clearing. Another boy with black hair followed.

"De Luca."Justin snarled.

"Bieber. Anderson." De Luca acknowledged.

"What are you doing here, shouldn't you be fucking Miranda right now?"Justin snapped.

"Already did, just like Evelyn."De Luca smirked.

"You fucking asshole."Justin growled and then all hell broke loose.Justin threw a ball of flames toward De Luca. It nearly touched him but De Luca skillfully dodged it.

"You're still fighting like you did in ninth grade combat training.Didn't Coach Clarkson teach you anything?" De Luca taunted.

Balls of fire were thrown simultaneously and De Luca kept avoiding them like a pro.
