"Don't worry about me,worry about yourself."

After I had come back from Taylor's dorm, I found my own dorm empty. Logan had left me a note telling me that Angelina and her had gone to lunch with Jonathan and Carter. Next to the note there was a ceasar salad that looked delicious. Grabbing a bottle of lemonade from the mini fridge, I sat on my bed and began eating my salad. I had plugged in my phone to its charger and my grey laptop was perched on my duvet.

After I had finished eating my salad, I decided to change into a lavender cropped shirt that reached my rib cage showing my navel piercing and a pair of grey short shorts. A smile grew on my lips as I remembered when Cassandra had taken me to tattoo and piercing parlor. She had already gotten her navel done and wanted a tattoo on her side. I was only fourteen at the time and she had been sixteen. When the needle pierced my skin, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Cassandra had gotten it worse. She wanted a tattoo of an infinity sign that held the words "life" and "love" with a feather included. It had taken at least forty five minutes and she was whimpering in her chair. When the artist said he was done, Cassandra went to the mirror nearby and admired it for a long time.

I missed my sister. She was my best friend, the girl I could trust and we always had each other's back. She had stayed in Florida going to the University of Miami to become a marine biologist, like she had always dreamed.

A knock on the door broke my thoughts.

"Allie, it's Taylor."

"It's open." I informed, throwing empty salad dish away.

"What's up?"I asked, my legs were criss-crossed beneath me. Taylor had changed into some shorts and a black tank top, her hair was still in a messy ponytail.

"You don't have to act like nothing happened. Talk to me." She comforted taking a seat on my bed.

"Why is he like that? I can understand being hurt for a few months but it's been years. He should've gotten over her." I said looking at her.

"Allie, what Justin went through wasn't your typical heartbreak. Evelyn tore him apart. She stabbed him in the back when he was completely unaware. She basically tore out his heart. He went into a state of depression just because of her. He almost committed suicide because the pain was unbearable."

I gasped.

"What? He almost killed himself?" I asked not believing what I had just heard.

She nodded.

"He tried to overdose from some pills I had given him. He told me that he was getting migraines more than often, and I gave him some. Dex, Justin, and I made plans to get dinner together. Dex and I weren't together back then, the three of us were just friends. We went up to Justin's room and found him on the floor with the bottle of pills in his hand. He was close to death. Dex checked if he had a pulse and he did. I got him to vomit the pills and he was fine. The next day he went to the nurse and she cured his migraines. Turns out, Evelyn was trying to get him under her hold again but her power was weakening. She wasn't strong enough to take hold of Justin anymore and while she was trying to take a hold of him, she was only making it worse for him. The side effects of her trying to get Justin again was making him turn on himself. "

My mouth was wide open. Justin had tried to take his own life for this girl. He was right. I didn't know what he had gone through and I felt guilty that I had taken it so lightly.

Taylor sighed, "A few weeks later he went to visit his parents since they leave a few miles away. His cousin gave him some cigarettes and he got hooked. The next time he visited, his cousin got him weed. For a few months, he was addicted to smoking marijuana. He stopped during the summer between freshman and sophomore year. Now he just smokes cigarettes. Since what happened with Evelyn he can't trust anybody, no matter how much he'd want to. The only people he'll trust is the boys and me, no one else."
