Chapter 23

Killian's POV

I was painting the room and the front door open and shut and footsteps came upstairs. Then the door swung open and Emma walked in.

"Leia isnt here and I told you Im done with you." I tell her.

"I know Leia isnt home. I know what you said. Now its my turn to talk. What exactly have you done Killian? My friends hang out with you all, Leia doesnt talk to me as much. Everyone is choosing your side as always." She says.

"Really my side. Emma they wernt choosing between you and me. They were choosing between Me and Graham. Dont hate the fact they all trust me over him. Now go away." I tell her.

"No, we arent down talking about this." She says.

"I am. Go home, Swan. Go to your boyfriend. Just leave me alone." I tell her.

"Stop pushing me away. Just talk to me whats bothering you?" She asks.

"Fine you want the truth. Its because like you said we were getting along then you go off and you didnt even want to hear what I have to say and that hurt Emma." I tell her.

"Im sorry, Im going to ask you one thing. If you didnt hurt Graham then how'd you hurt your hand?" She asks.

"I punched a wall." I say.

"Why?" She asks.

"Why not." I say.

"Umm.. Anyway I like how you and the band are giving Leia a place to hang. I actually came over to help." She says.

"Grab a brush. Oh and Swan this time make sure paint stays on the wall." I tell her.

"That was your fault." She says to me.

Flashback Emma age 14 Killian age 15

"Killian! Killian!" Emma yells coming into my house.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"Will you help me paint?" She asks.

"Sure love." I say.

We walked back over to her house and bumped into Mr.Popular.

"Emma, hi." Graham says to her.

"Hi." Emma says.

"Wanna hang out sometime?" He asks her.

"She cant." I tell him.

"Killian." Emma says and slaps my arm.

"Sorry Love, we have tons of things to do." I say taking her hand.

"Killian's right we have alot to do. Maybe some other time." Emma says and pulls me away.

"God why does he have to bother you when he knows your mine." I say and kiss her head.

"Killian stop being a whiner plus I dont like him the way he likes me." She says.

We got to her house and she was repainting her room.

"Swan?" I question turning around and accidentally got paint on her.

"Im gonna kill you." She says and throws paint at me.

"Hey!" I say and throw some back.

We were covered in paint within minutes. Emma's mom walked in and just looked at us.

"I'll get some towels." She says to us.

"Thanks mom." Emma says.

End Flashback.

Again Emma and I have somewhat fixed things. Then she got a text from her mom who is going to bring over some snacks.

"Hey Umm Swan... About this problem. We dont need to tell anyone right?" I ask.

"Nope, but..." She says and paint whacks me in the face.

"Wow Swan. Always playing dirty." I say and flick some at her.

After that paint was flying all over the place and we were cover in paint.

"You two really love paint dont you?" Ingrid asks.

"Hi." We say at the same time.

"Let me get towels." She says.

When she walked out Leia walked in with Liam.

"God what a mess." Liam says.

There was all different colors splattered all over the walls . Emma and I glanced at each other and then looked at Leia.

"Leia, honey I accidentally got paint on your dads face and he then freaked out and threw paint at me. Be mad at him." Emma says.

"Really?" I say.

"Yes really." She says motioning over to Leia.

"Yeah It was my fault. I'll fix it." I tell her.

"No dont. Its awesome." Leia says.

"Well that was the plan to get your mother mad enough just so I could surprise you." I say.

"I would hug you, but your covered in paint." Leia says.

Emma gave me a look like I just went back on her plan. She wanted me to get into trouble and its not my fault Leia loves it. I gotta say spending the day with Emma was actually wonderful. It makes me... Like her as the mother of my child nothing more then that. Right?
