Chapter 43

Leia's POV

"Okay Leia behave for your grandma. I have to leave now I'll be back." My mom says.

"Mom I dont know why you would want to go to a fancy dinner alone because thats just weird." I say.

"Well after Graham and I broke up I thought I would keep the reservation that was a surprise for him just for myself. Now you be good." She says walking out.

That was really weird I would think she would take a friend or something and not stay in New York all alone. I walked into my dad's house and he was leaving.

"Dad where are you going?" I ask.

"Well I lost a bet and that means I have to go talk to the record label." He says.

"Oh okay. Well bye." I say.

He walked out and I just stood there because that was really weird and strange. First my mom leaves now my dad is going somewhere and out of nowhere. Its just weird.

Emma's POV

I was on the plane and Killian was next to me. I placed my head on his shoulder and he kissed my head.

"I feel really bad." I say.

"About what love?" He asks.

"That we lied to everyone. Including Leia." I say.

"I know I feel guilty for lying to them. Mostly Leia." He says.

"Yeah I know me too, but we have to know how and what we are first before we tell anyone anything." I say.

"And when we figure it out if its bad we tell no one. If its good we might want to tell Leia first so she doesnt hear it from someone else like last time." He says.

"I agree." I say.

Once we were in New York we got ready for the dinner that Killian so kindly got for us. The dinner went great and afterwords we wen for a walk in the city.

"Wow New York is so nice at night." I say.

"Thats so true." He says.

He placed his arm around me and held me close to him. We walked around the city and I kissed his cheek.

"Killian, do you think this is going to work this time round?" I ask.

"Yes I think I will at least I hope." He says.

"So I was wondering where was it where you met Leia?" I ask.

"Here in New York. She came out of nowhere and at first I hated the thought about having a child and she knew it to. She could have left cause I was being a big jerk, but she staid around and after awhile I finally came around. You raised her well." He says.

"Well Im not so sure about that Im still figuring things out with a teenager its harder. Lets not talk about this ." I say.

"Hey your a wonderful mother and no matter what other people say its all okay." He says.

"This is why I have always loved you." I say to him.

"I love you too." He says and kisses me.

I love spending time with him and things are going to be fine, but we talked about it and we might keep this from everyone right now because we still have to worry about Albert Spencer going after Leia.
