Chapter 30

Leia's POV

Today was a nice day and Halloween I have always hater Halloween and crazy people like Albert Spencer around makes me nervous because I know this isnt over.

"Halloween party!" Mimi says walking down the halls.

"The great party is happening and as usually we wont be invited." Nigel says.

"Doesnt matter." I say.

"Leia, Nigel here are your invites come if you want." Mimi says.

I took the invite from her hand and once she walked away I threw it in the trash. Then I walked away. After school I went straight home and curled up on the couch with my journal.

Killian's POV

I have been staying around Emma. Just so Albert couldnt hurt her. Though Emma had to make a big decision I know its hard so I have to make it for her. I saw Leia go inside the house and I walked in and sat next to her.

"Leia, I want to tell you goodbye. We will be leaving the band and I." I tell her.

"What? You cant go!" She yells at me.

"Leia I have to its the only way to keep you and your mother and everyone safe." I say.

"No! You cant leave me. Please dont leave." She says.

"Leia I have to go." I say to her.

"Fine! Leave! See if I care!" She yells and runs upstairs.

"Leia! Leia!" I yell but she slammed the door.

"Why is Leia slamming doors?" Emma asked walking in.

"I told her something and she is really upset." I say.

"What did you say?" She asks.

"Im leaving." I tell her.

"Like the house or the town?" She asks.

"The town. Im going for good. Its to keep you all safe." I say.

"Look I appreciate that, but leaving Leia. I dont think you can do that." She says.

"Your right I cant leave Leia, but after the threat you got by Albert this is the only way to protect her." I say.

"Killian you know Albert. Willl he hurt Leia if you leave?" She asks.

"Thats son of a bitch. He knew Leia would be pissed at me." I say.

We rushed up to Leia's room and she was gone. Emma looked at me and punched me in the arm.

"God Killian. She really thought you would be there for her and telling her otherwise she got not just mad but sad and ran away. I should have listen to Graham and my gut. I knew you would fail her." She says and went in search of Leia.

What have I done? My daughter hates me. Emma hates me. Emma was right when we first spoke I would eventually let Leia down just as I let Emma down all those years ago.
