Chapter 46

Emma's POV

Leia was off at school and my mom was at work and I was off today so Killian came over to hang out.

"Hey you." I say and kiss him when he walks in.

"Hey how is your December morning treating you?" He asks.

"Its just fine a bit cold though." I say to him.

"Well why dont I make you some hot chocolate?" He offers.

"With Cinnamon." I say.

"Of course Love." He says.

I sat on the stairs and Killian walked over to me and placed my leg over his lap.

"I love you and I like spending time with you. I just like lying about it to everyone." I say to him.

"I love you too and I dont like it either. Like when Leia was gone I wanted to just to be there for you." He says.

"Yeah, but we have to take it slow and not let everyone get involved." I say.

"Yeah I know." He says.

We staid at the stairs all day talking and just figuring everything out. Then the front door opened and Killian and I hopped up.

"Mom, Im home." Leia says.

"Okay sweetie." I say.

"Mom where are you? I wanna talk to you about something." She says.

"About what?" I ask.

"About dad." She says.

"What dis you do?" I ask Killian.

"I dont know." He says.

"Use the back door." I say shoving him out.

"Love you." He says and kisses me then leaves.

"Im in the kitchen!" I yell.

"Hey." She says walking in.

"So what has your father done now?" I ask.

"Lately he has been acting very weird and strange. He has been blowing the guys off at night. He hasnt been at rehearsal durning the day. Then the night you all found me helping my friend he disappeared at night. The guys and I think he might be seeing someone." She says.

"No he isnt dating anyone." I say.

"How do you know that?" She asks.

"Because lately I have seen him during those times.... Singing Karaoke at the bar." I say.

"So he is singing Karaoke, but why isnt he telling anyone? Wait why have you been in the bar lately?" She asks.

"Baby break ups hurt and he wont tell anyone because he... He has... Been singing Britney Spears." I say.

"Umm." She says.

"I know its weird and funny. Okay homework." I say.

I went outside and sat on the porch and Killian walked up.

"So what happened?" He asks.

"Everyone thinks you have a girlfriend." I say.

"Oh and what did you do?" He asks.

"I told Leia that you have been singing Britney Spears Karaoke lately." I say.

"Why would you say that?" He asks.

"I dont know. So you might want to practice your oops I did it again." I say to him.

"I'll get you for this Swan." He says.

I wanted to kiss him, but we were where people could see us. I wonder if Killian will make my lie a reality.
