Leia's POV
My mom wanted to leave for her date with Graham last night neither my mom or dad fought last night at dinner.
"Okay Leia your dad will be here soon to keep an eye out for Albert." My mom says.
"Yeah I know." I say.
There was a knock on the door and when my mom answered my dad was there.
"Look what I found on your porch." My dad says holding up a rose.
"Was Graham outside or something?" My mom asks.
"No it was just laying on the ground. Here have it." My dad says handing it to her.
"Thanks. Bye guys." My mom says taking it and walked out.
My dad turned to me and then looked out the window on patrol to look out for Albert Spencer.
"Where did the rose really come from?" I ask.
"On the porch like I told you." He says.
"No really before you got here I was outside for like an hour and you showed up like 5 minutes later." I say.
"Leia..." He says.
"Yeah okay." I say.
"What does that mean?" He asks.
"Nothing." I say.
I got up and went outside and of course he followed me.
"Okay look about Thanksgiving I was thinking that the guys and I just stay next door." He says.
"No please come." I say.
"Leia, we would but Graham is going and I dont want a fight to break out and ruin your day." He says.
"No. Please just come and be nice for me please." I beg.
"Leia..." He says.
"No I get it. You hate me." I say walking inside.
"Leia, no. Dont ever say that. I love you and the guys and I would love to come okay." He says.
"See was that so hard to change your mind?" I ask
"Oh your good." He says.
"I think you know where I learned it." I say.
"That mother of yours taught you well." He says.
"Has she ever used that on you?" I ask.
"Way to many times." He says.
"Well Im going to start planning the Thanksgiving dinner." I say walking upstairs.
I know my dad was lying about the flower I think he brought it to make amends with my mom after a fight, but since I was there he lied about it. They all will break and I want them to tell me the truth and not lie to me.
