"Do you have everything you need?"
"Simon, jesus, you've asked me this ten times."
"Just doing a deca-checka." He chuckled lightly as he loaded Harry's last bag into the trunk of the Honda.
Together, they proceeded to climb in, Simon driving and Harry in the passenger's seat. As they took to the streets, speeding along, the view only got worse. So many people and protesters, police forces only standing by to admire.
A tear rolled down Harry's cheek as he soaked in his surroundings. Out of habit for comforting his boyfriend, Simon leaned over and pecked Harry on the cheek. Within the next moment, someone from the side of the road had stepped out in front of the car, forcing Simon to brake abruptly.
"What the hell are you doing." Simon stood up out of the car.
The person, a man around six foot with a big build, didn't speak a word as he began to walk towards Simon. Harry, to afraid to do anything, crawled into the back seat.
The man grabbed Simon's shoulder roughly and began to drag him towards a group of rioters.
"Oi, get the fuck off me!" Simon shouted, attempting to kick and hit the man, but to no avail.
Harry, still in the backseat paralyzed in fear, could do nothing. He was weak and useless and stupid and he let this happen, or at least that's what he believed.
Simon had been dragged into the group of unforgiving men, women, and even children. They created a circle around and the gruff man released the tall blonde, throwing him to the ground without hesitating to spit, disgusted. Another man emerged, this one smaller than Simon, but possessed a much greater build than him and the first guy combined. However, this guy was different.
He held a knife to Simon's neck.
