Brooklyn's P.O.V
"Ok class don't forget to give your parents these forms!" My teacher Miss February reminded us.
All the grade 10's got forms that their parents should sign. The school is taking us on a field trip for a week. We're going to stay at a hotel. The location is Yale. I don't want to go but I have to,because apparently we're getting a test, about what we've learnt while being there. Their going to show us the daily lives of students and we'll even sit in the class while the lecturer teaches the students. I hope I don't see Josh. I can't hide the form ,because the teachers kind of told my dad already and his currently signing the form. Damn it!!!
"Ok class remember you can bring the forms tomorrow but you have two day to bring this to school. We leave on Thursday." Miss February said before exiting with my dad. They became very good friend's which suck. If I fail a test then she tells my dad and I get in trouble.
"You ready to go?" Jay asked as he took my bag.
"Yeah but could I have my backpack please. I can carry it." I told him. I reached out to grab it but Jay pulled away.
"I'm not letting my girlfriend carry her backpack. I'm doing it." He said all confidently. I never argued.
"I can never win with you, can I?" I asked him. He smiled foolishly.
"Nope thats why you love me." He said as he grabbed my hand. The word 'love' made me feel uncomfortable.
Jay and I were walking home when Jay started complaining.
"I'm hungry. Can we go to Sweet Creams?" He asked.
"No." I said. I didn't want to go because it reminds me of Josh.
"Please." He begged. He made puppy dog eyes and went down on his knees.
"Fine I guess we can go." I said raffling his hair. He stood up and hugged me.
"Your the best." Jay said. He always knew how to make me feel better. I kissed his cheek.
When we got into the ice cream shop Jay couldn't stop hopping around. He dragged me along as he ran up to the counter to order.
"Hi mama. Could we have two sugar cones with english toffee ice cream please." Jay asked all innocently. The lady smiled and nodded her head.
"Aww you remember my favourite flavor." I hugged him from behind.
He chuckled.
"Of course I do. It's my job." He said. Jay and I might be boyfriend and girlfriend but we still have that best friend relationship.
We took our ice cream but Jay and I got into a argument.
"Jay I can pay for myself." I scolded him.
"No I'm your boyfriend. I'm paying." He said while he handed the money to the lady.
"Curse you Jayden Howard." I said. He looked at me and laughed.
Jay put his arm around me and lead me towards a booth. We ate our ice creams.
Wow! This really brings back old memories.
***FLASHBACK***
"Are all freshmans as mature as you are?" He asked.
"Not really but tell that to my dad and he'll prove you wrong." I joked. Him and I both laughed.
"Hey is that Justin Bieber." He said pointing to the door.
"Where?" I turned my head to look but I never saw him. When I looked at Josh he was licking my ice-cream.
"You tricked me." I said looking at my ice-cream. He laughed but I grabbed his hands with my free hand and licked his ice cream. I'm not a fan of strawberry but I am now.
"Back off its mine." He said playfully.
I giggled at his cute stupidity.
"Whatever, you moan to much." I told him.
"I don't moan!" He said all full of confidence.
"Ya... you do, you moaned to get ice-cream." I reminded him.
"But admit it you enjoyed it." He said.
I hesitated before answering I tried not to admit that I was actually enjoying myself but I ended up telling him anyways "Ok, ok, ok I enjoyed it."
***END OF FLASHBACK***
"Earth to Brooklyn." Jay said waving a hand in my face.
"You ok?" He asked while licking his ice-cream.
"Yeah I was just day dreaming." I lied.
"Awwww is my girl day dreaming about me?" He asked.
I licked my ice-cream and started laughing.
"You wish."
"I don't wish, I know." He said. He put his hand on mine. It felt nice. It actually helped me forget about Josh.
"I love you Brooklyn." Jay told me. Looking into my eyes. His hazel eyes were similar to Josh's.
"I love you too Jo- Jaydon Howard." Oh my gosh I was going to say Josh.
Thank goodness Jayden never noticed. We finished up our ice cream then went home.
"Bye my love." Jayden waved as he walked across the street to his house.
"Bye Jaddy." I waved. He hates that name but he blushed.
