Brooklyn's P.O.V
"Wake up! We're here." I heard Olivia. I groaned then sat up and rubbed my eyes, Jay did the same.
"Looks like we're here." I sighed.
"I guess so."
We got our bags and Olivia directed us to a benches.
"Let's sit under the tree. It's too hot to sit in the sun." Madison wined. We all agreed and took a seat under the tree with our suitcases.
"When will Alex be here?" Madison asked.
"Is Madison excited to see her boyfriend again?" Olivia and I teased her. She blushed.
"Dont worry we're just teasing you. Josh and Alex will be here soon." Olivia said not moving her eyes from the screen of her phone.
"Madison come with me to the bathroom." Olivia asked. Madison got up and they walked to the bathroom.
I got shivers through my body just by hearing his name. I guess I'm not fully over him.
"Are you ok?" Jay asked. He held my hand and I shook my head.
"Tell me what's wrong?" I looked at him. I think it's time I tell him about Josh I hope he'll understand.
"If I tell you promise me that you'll understand?" I wanted to be sure that he won't get upset with this matter.
"I promise I won't. I can be never be mad at you." His so sweet. His every girls dream guy.
"Ok so Josh is my ex boyfriend. Him and I ended things on bad terms. We haven't spoken in two years I was afraid to tell you because I was afraid that I'd loose you. I never planned on seeing him again but my dad said that I had to stay with him and Alex just for the week." I stopped when Jay began to tear up.
"Do you still have feelings for him?" Jay asked. He never looked up at me. What do I say?
"Not anymore. When you came into my life, I got over him.... you showed me how to love when I thought that I couldn't anymore." I told him. He finally looked up at me and gave me a weak smile.
"That's all that matters." He said. He took my hand and intertwined it with his. I gave him a smile.
"Are you mad at me?" I just had to know if he was.
"I'm not mad, but he better not try anything with you." Jay said sternly. It's weird seeing him serious because usually his so playful.
"So what are we going to do tonight?" Jay asked me.
"We can't stay up late because we have to go to classes with Alex tomorrow. So we have to at least be in bed at 23:00." I told him.
"So what can we do during that time?" He asked.
"The apartment building where Josh and Alex lives in, has a swimming pool." I said. His face lit up.
"Can we go swimming?" He put out his bottom lip and pouted.
"Ok but only until 22:00 because we still have to shower and my hair has to dry." I told him. He put his arm around my shoulder.
I checked my phone and it was already 18:00. I was beginning to get tried.
"Ok Alex is here." Olivia says. I hop up and grab my suitcase.
We waited 5 minutes before we saw Alex's face. Madison immediately ran to him and gave him a huge hug. He hugged Olivia then came to me.
"Alex long time no see." I said as his hug tightened.
"Brooke I missed you." He pulled away then went to go and greet Jay.
"Hey you must be Alex?" Jay stuck his hand out and Alex kindly took it. Then they began talking about soccer and boy stuff until Olivia spoke up.
"Can we please leave its getting late." Olivia said. We all agreed and walked to Alex's car. We got in and Alex started the car.
In the middle of the car ride Madison broke the ice.
"Where's Josh?" Madison asked Alex.
"Oh hmm.... He stayed by the apartment just to tidy up a bit." Alex said awkwardly.
This is going to be a heck of a night.
We arrived by the apartment. Alex is unlocking the door and opens it. Wow his apartment is really big and cozy. It has a fire place, flat screen tv, a gigantic L shaped couch. The walls were a cream color.
When we all stepped inside the first person I saw standing inside the kitchen was....Josh.
He turned around and his smile dropped when he saw me. I noticed that his eyes began to focus on mine and Jay's hands that were locked together. He looked like he was about to throw a fuse.
