Brooklyn's P.O.V
I'm at Olivia's house. We all handed in our forms. Olivia's mother and I are very close. Her mother's name is Marilyn.
"Girls I have some news!" Marilyn said excitedly. Olivia and I exchanged confused looks.
"What is it mom?" Olivia asked.
"Brooklyn,Madison and Jay's parents and I decided that it would be alot cheaper if you spent the week by Alex's apartment. We asked Alex and he agreed." Marilyn told us.
Olivia and I jumped in excitement.
"So it will just be you,me,Madison,Jay, Alex and Josh!!!" Olivia shouted in excitement. I stopped hopping around when I heard Josh's name.
"What! Does Josh live with Alex?" Olivia stopped jumping around at my question. She looked to the ground and nodded her head slowly.
"Why didn't tell me Olivia!?" I raised my voice.
"Because I forgot ok!"
"No I can't see him , I'm not ready to." I lowered my voice.
"Brooklyn get over him, you have Jay, Josh has Zoe. Brooklyn stop holding onto the past and start focusing of the present." Olivia said. Wow! It's not as easy as you think, Olivia.
"I know because Adian and I broke up but you don't see me crying over him." Olivia had a point.
"You know what your right,but won't it be awkward?" I asked uncomfortably.
"It's only awkward if you make it awkward." I pulled Olivia into a hug. She rubbed circles on my back.
I don't think I'm ready to see Josh,but I have Jay there with me. I hope I'll be able to keep my emotions under control. Just be positive Brooklyn.
"You girls should start packing." Marilyn said. I nod and left Olivia's house.
I got to my house and my dad was playing with baby Joshua.
"Hey dad." I said. He looked up at me then smiled.
"Hey Brooke. You excited for tomorrow? Look I understand that you and Josh broke up but please just try to make it work for this one week please?" He pleaded.
"I'll do my best." I said. He motioned for me to hug him which I did.
I felt something or someone on my leg. I looked down and saw baby Josh hugging my leg.
"Do you want your big sister to play with you?" My dad asked Josh. Joshua made silva bubbles which I'm guessing means yes. I bent down and picked him up. I sat down on the floor where they were playing and I placed him on my lap. He smelt so fresh and good. Babies.
"I love you Joshy." I said to baby Josh. He look towards me and began pulling my hair.
"Ouch!!! Dad help!!!" I shouted. My dad took his hands away from my hair and took Josh off my lap.
"Dad I think my baby brother is evil." I joked. My dad laughed before taking Josh to the kitchen to feed him.
I went to my room and took out my black suitcase. I started packing in my socks,underwear, shirts, skirts, jeans, pjs, toothbrush,shoes, face cloth etc.
I placed my suitcase downstairs so I won't have to carry it downstairs in the morning.
The school is taking us by the school bus. We're driving to Yale. I hope I don't get car sick.
I decided to take a picture if baby Joshua playing with his toys. His so cute, even if he pulls my hair out I can't stay mad at him for long. He has my dad's eyes but Barbara's hair color. His facial features are mixed with a bit if them both. He has Barbara's nose and my dad's smile.
I'm so happy to have a sibling.
