Chapter 18

Josh's P.O.V.

I saw someone I wasn't expecting to see, someone I had actually forgotten about. Zoe.

I wasn't expecting to see her this morning. She looked really upset and I noticed Brooklyn tense up. I wonder why?

Brooklyn's P.O.V

I noticed Josh's eyes widened when he saw Zoe. Ugh I hate her!!! I tensed up and Josh noticed. Zoe cleared her throat and spoke shortly after that.

"Morning Joshua..." She hugged him but he never hugged her. All you could see on his face was confusion, I felt the same but mixed with anger and a pinch of jealousy.

She pulled away and turned her attention to me.

"What are you doing here?" She asked in a rather harsh tone. I rolled my eyes and walked out of the room. I still need to get dressed.

I went into the bathroom brushed my teeth, brush my hair, wash my face and shower.

I looked inside of my bag and found a black high waisted skirt and I put on my white long sleeve crop top that had rose pink lips printed all over it. I decided to just apply some mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss. I decided to put my hair up into a messy bun I always loved that hairstyles ,don't ask why. I spray my 'Pleasures' perfume on and ta-da I'm finished. I put my backpack on the couch and took an apple from the kitchen.

I know you might be asking why am I taking my backpack with. The only reason why is because I want to make notes so I'd be prepared for that stupid test the schools giving us after the trip.

Jay walks into the living room with a banana in his mouth. He sits next to me and leans his head on my shoulder.

"Do you think I should FaceTime my dad, I'm missing baby Joshua?" I asked Jay.

"Phone that little stud, I miss baby Joshy too." He said. I picked up my phone and FaceTimed with him. After three rings he picked up.

"Hey Brooke, hey Jay what's up?" My dad said with a smile on his face. I was about to answer when Zoe came storming out of Josh's room and left the apartment. I so badly wanted to laugh in her face, but I have better things to do then waste my time.

"Sorry about that but hey dad I miss you, mom and Joshy." I said and Jay nodded his head energetically. I don't think I should allow him to eat sugar any more.

I heard someone running downstairs and it was Barbara with little Joshua.

"Hey sweetie we miss you and Jay don't we Joshua?" Barbara looked at baby Joshua whose attention was focused on Jay.

"Hey Mrs Matthews and hello little Josh." Josh said and started to make funny faces. Olivia and Madison came into the living room with Alex and Olivia and Madison said at the same time.

"SECOND MOMMY AND DADDY!!!" They grabbed my phone out of my hand and began to speak to my mom and dad.

I began to wonder why Zoe stormed off?

Josh's P.O.V

After Brooklyn left my room Zoe slapped me.

"What was that for!?" I raised my voice. She glared at me before replying.

"Is there something going on between you two and why is she here!?"

"No Brooklyn and I decided to be friends and she's only here because their high school is having their field trip here! Gosh do you have to bitch about everything!" I could control my anger right now. With that Zoe stormed out of my room and out of the apartment.
