Ayesha Alexander
It's been atleast two years since I've been back in the bay. After Steph and I broke up, admit, I was in a dark place for a while and seeing him in the media parading different women around didn't make it any better.
Eventually, I convinced myself to get out and live my life again. I dated around a little bit and I currently have a boyfriend who lives in Atlanta ,but he's coming out here to help me get settled.
Atlanta was a really nice place, but I decided fitness wasn't really the career path I wanted to take, so I moved to L.A to pursue acting. I starred in a small t.v show called 'Whittaker Bay' and I appeared on a couple of other t.v shows. Right now I'm on a break from acting for a few months so I just decided to move back to the bay to figure out my next career move.
I'm currently in the grocery store looking for pasta for my dinner tonight when someone bumped into me. I looked up to see Sydel reaching for a gallon of milk.
"Oh im sorr- Ayesha!" Sydel squealed hugging me when she realized it was me.
"Hi babes, I haven't seen you in forever." She still looked the same despite the fact that she grew a little taller and her face matured.
"I know, I missed you."
"I missed you more! Are you here by yourself?" I asked looking around the store, thankful that she hadn't asked about Stephen and I.
"No, mom's at the check out, she sent me because she forgot the milk. You know how mom is." She laughed. "I better take this to her. Come on." She said grabbing my hand .
"Wait you want me to come?" I asked, a bit uneasy. I hadn't seen Sonya since I was with Steph. She'd called me a few times but once I figured out Steph started calling from her phone because I wouldn't answer his calls, I just eventually stopped answering.
"Yeah, mom will be really happy to see you." I sighed and took her hand, walking towards the checkout. Sonya was looking down rummaging through her purse and looked up when she saw us.
"Ayesha Alexander." She said staring me down. "Hi Sonya." I said shyly smiling.
"I haven't seen you in a forever. Why haven't you called, how have you been?" She asked, hugging me.
I hugged back, relieved that she wasn't angry at me. "I've been great. And I wasn't sure you guys wanted me to call." Oh great, way to make the moment awkward.
"Honey you could call anytime you want. Matter of fact, we're having a dinner tonight. How about you come by? It'll be just like old times." She said smiling, putting her groceries in the basket.
"Uhm..." I wasn't sure if it was a good idea, expecially since I'm not sure if Marcus will be cool with it.
"Listen, I have to go get dinner started. The adress is still the same, we'll be expecting you. " She said as they hugged me once more before walking away.
Lord, what have I gotten myself into?
