Quinn's P.O.V

Have you ever felt so furious, that you didn't care about anything anymore? Have you ever felt so disappointed in yourself, that you felt like you deserved whatever punishment that was handed to you? Have you ever felt like you hurt someone you care about so bad, that you wanted to take the pain, and inflict it upon yourself? I have, and it felt unbearable.

I was sitting on my bed, and repeatedly looked up at the door. Vivian hasn't spoken to me in nearly two days. I knew she was mad, because hell, I was furious at myself too, but she didn't even look in my direction. That made me feel worse than what I already felt. The silent treatment was a bitch.

I absentmindedly scratched at my stitches. They were almost as itchy as my arm under my cast, but at least I could scratch my stomach. My door opened up to reveal Vivian. I was so startled to see her, that I snatched my hand back, effectively ripping my stitches. I hissed in pain. I looked down and saw a trickle of blood that slightly stained my shirt. I heard Vivian gasp.

" It's nothing. It doesn't even hurt." I said quickly. In truth, it stung like a mother, but I wasn't about to let her know that. Apparently, I didn't have to tell her. She already knew. She walked into the bathroom, and returned a few seconds later with medical supplies. She had gauze pads, cotton balls, and rubbing alcohol.

" Take off your shirt." she said. My eyes bulged out of my head at the request. Before I could sputter out an excuse not to, she was squatting between my legs, and unbuttoning my shirt. I could feel myself blushing furiously.

Vivian's P.O.V

I smirked inwardly at her blush. I knew exactly why her face was red, and I wasn't about to pass up my chance to make her sweat, and not in the dirty way. Yet. I thought with a giggle. I saw her looking at me curiously, but I waved it off. I continued to slowly unbutton her shirt. I heard her breathing pick up speed. I smirked a little.

" Okay, now I'm going to clean the wound. Be careful, it'll sting." I warned. She nodded her head, and I began cleaning her up. I wetted a cotton ball with alcohol, and wiped the torn stitches. I knew it stung, but she didn't make a noise. An idea formed in my mind, and I grinned evilly. I puckered my lips, and blew on the wound. I heard her breathing hitch. I grinned victoriously, but I wasn't done yet.

" Okay. Now scoot back on the bed." I ordered. She looked startled by my command, but I pushed her back a little, so I could hop up, and sit on her lap. She yelped a little, and I giggled slightly. I quickly got up and straddled her lap. I was pretty sure she stopped breathing altogether. I looked down at her and saw her eyes were roaming. I was doing an internal victory dance.

I gently ran my fingertips over her stitches, and felt her stomach twitch slightly. I could have sworn I heard her moan faintly. A small smile ghosted my lips. I picked up the gauze, and wrapped it around her lithe form. Once I was finished wrapping her up, I looked up and realized our faces were inches apart. Both of our breathing hitched. I saw her look down at my lips, and we both started to unconsiously move closer and closer. Our lips were a breath away from each other when-

" VIVIAN! BECCA!" we quickly jumped apart at Rodrick's scream. The door flew open, and Rodrick appeared in the doorway. If he seemed suspicious of our flustered faces and Becca's unbuttoned shirt, he didn't show it.

" Johnson's gang is here and a shootout is about to happen. Dad said to get the both of you out." he pulled out a folded up piece of paper. " These are instructions to a safe house that dad is ordering you two to go stay at. He'll call you when it's safe." he turned around to leave, but when he got to the door, he turned back. " Hey Bec, nice boobs." he laughed softly. She just blushed and buttoned up her shirt.

I picked up my car keys, my gun, and put my hand on Vivian's lower back. I quickly guided her towards the back door. I stepped in front of her, signaled for her to be quiet, and peeked my head out the door. When I saw no one there, I gently pulled her by the arm, and we made a mad dash through the yard.

As soon as we crossed the backyard to the front, gunshots rang out. I pushed Vivian to the ground, and pulled out my gun. I dove to the ground, and narrowly missed a bullet to the skull. I cocked my Desert Eagle, aimed it, and shot one of the men in the leg. He went down. Rodrick and Jason created a distraction by running like chickens without their heads.

I pulled Vivian up off the ground, and we dashed to my car. I ripped the passenger door open, and quickly ushered her in. I ran around, got in the car, and peeled out of the driveway. I breathed a sigh of relief, but it was the breath was lodged in my throat when my car was getting shot up. I whirled my head around so fast, that I was afraid I got whiplash. A few men were following us in a black Sedan.

" Shit." I whispered, but I knew Vivian heard it. I slammed on the accelerator, and made a sharp turn. I knew it was going to take a lot more to lose the assholes. I didn't know where I was going, but I improvised by turning down a back alley. I looked in the rear view mirror, and saw the car was directly behind me. I sped up when we exited the back alley. I was an agent, and there I was, breaking laws left and right.

" Take the wheel." I commanded. She seemed frightened by my command, but grabbed the wheel nonetheless. I pulled out my gun and rolled down the window. I pushed myself out of my seat, and pulled half of my body out the window. I saw one of the men mirror my actions. I raised my gun, and shot at the car. I heard screams around me, but I paid them no mind. The guy that was hanging out the car was aiming right at me, so I hopped back into the car.

" Switch places with me." I said. She opened her mouth to protest, but I was already crawling into the back seat. I rolled down the back window, and took aim again. This time, I aimed for the tires. They avoided the bullets by swerving to the side. They sped up so they were parallel to our car.

" Move over." I ordered. Vivian looked slightly pissed off, but I couldn't care less. I grabbed the wheel while she crawled over the armrest. I hopped into the driver's seat, and stomped on the gas. We were side by side; neck and neck. I realized we were heading towards the ocean, so I sped up quickly.

" Put on your seat belt." I said without taking my eyes off the road. Vivian's eyes were currently closed, but they opened at my tone. She looked forward, and her eyes widened. She quickly fastened her seat belt.

" Slow the hell down!" she yelled. I ignored her yells, and picked up more speed. We were getting closer and closer to the water. The closer we got, the louder her pleas became. In the last second, I slammed on the brake. Vivian and I surged forward, but we were protected by the seat belt. I saw the other car slam on the brakes too slow. The next thing we saw, was their car flying into the ocean. I looked over at Vivian, who had her eyes clenched shut, and laughed in relief. Her eyes snapped open. She looked at me furiously. I shook my head, and drove off to the safe house.

Vivian's P.O.V

I was furious. I was terrified. I felt grateful to be alive. What the hell?! I looked over at Becca. She was sitting on the couch. I finished looking around, and I could honestly say, I was mildly impressed. It had two bedrooms. It might have sounded small, but they were huge rooms. They were furnished with king sized beds, bed side tables, lamps, and small TV's. There was one bathroom. I almost cried at that fact. It had a huge bathtub though. The kitchen was kind of small. It had a sink, a refrigerator, and a microwave. No stove. No dishwasher. I had tears.

" You could have gotten us killed!" I nearly screamed at her. She sighed like she was expecting my outburst. I was going to yell. She knew that, and I knew she knew that. She turned around to face me, and I saw her shirt had blood on it. I gasped at the sight. She looked down and sighed.

" We'll continue this conversation after I'm done cleaning you up." I said sternly. She just nodded her head and sat down. I sighed. This was going to be unbearable. I thought.
