Quinn's P.O.V

The ride to the precinct was full of Frank's feeble attempts of justifying his actions of restraining me. His weak defenses fell upon deaf ears. My mind was on the entire situation that I managed to wreck beyond repair. I chewed on my bottom lip in hopes of holding back any signs of weakness. I wasn't raised to show less than my all.

" This really is for your own good. If I hadn't shown up when I did, you wouldn't have found yourself an exit of all of this." Frank informed. My anger that was bubbling inside me finally release itself.

" What if I didn't want an out?!" I shouted. In the rear-view window, I managed to see my boss's eyes turn cold. He was furious now.

" What are you trying to say, Tucker?" He asked coolly. He knew I was never the one to beat around the bush. My eye twitched.

" Exactly what I said, Frank." I drawled. His knuckles were turning white with the death grip he had on the steering wheel. James shifted uncomfortably in the front seat, but we paid him no mind.

" Well I want you to say the meaning behind those words." I stayed silent. " I order you to further explain yourself Tucker!" He shouted. My gaze went from out the window, to meeting his glare in the rear-view window head on.

" You can't order me to do a damn thing. I quit." I spoke calmly as the back door was opened by a shocked James. During our argument, and my resignation, I failed to notice we arrived.

" You'll get everything finalized I presume? Good, I'll turn in my badge and gun." After I was free of the handcuffs, I walked confidently through the double doors.

I glanced left and right for the Daniels', but I couldn't find them. Since no one else knew about my pending resignation, I could use my title for some advantages. I quickly stalked up to the front desk, and placed my hands over the papers that the lady at the front desk -Rose was it?- was working on. She glanced up in irritation, but said nothing.

" Where are the Daniels' clan?" I barked. The other woman raised an eyebrow, and glanced at the paperwork I was covering.

I quickly moved my hands when I saw the name Vivian on the top of the page. She skimmed through the page, but not quick enough for my liking. My fingers began to tap along the desk as a sigh of my impatience. Rose pursed her lips, and I scowled in irritation.

" Well?" I asked. She smirked.

" They are being held in cells two; five; nine; fifteen, and twenty." Before she could finish the sentence, I took off down the hall.

I ran as fast as I could, and skidded to a halt right in front of cell number two. I peered inside, and saw Vivian curled up on the creaky bench inside the confines behind bars. I grasped two of the bars.

" Vivian! I'm going to get you out of this. I promise." I gasped between breaths. She shook her head.

" Just stop. Please. You've done more than enough." She whispered brokenly.

It cut at my heart. I didn't let it show. My face took on a look of concentration. After a few seconds, I had a plan formed. I smirked at the thought of my plan succeeding, then I took off down the hall. I had to get to work if it was going to work.

" What are you doing?" Vivian shouted. I spun around with a grin on my face.

" I'm getting all of you out." I ignored her baffled expression, and ran towards the front desk again.

" I need a pair of keys for one of the cars." I spoke hurriedly. She narrowed her eyes.

" I can't hand over keys to civilians." She answered. I paled. Everyone knew I quit.
