Vivian's P.O.V

At the sound of the front door shutting, my eyes opened. I felt warmth on my back, and pressure around my waist. I glanced down at the arm the encircled me, and a small smile graced my features. I carefully turned on my opposite side, and came face to face with a sleeping Quinn.

My smile slowly faded. My eyebrows furrowed slightly. Uncertainty clouded my emotions.  What were we exactly? Was Quinn my girlfriend? I didn't know anymore. I loved her with all my heart. I really did, but just the thought of her name sent me into a spiral of emotions. Some of them good, most of them darker.

I sighed as I snuggled closer to her. Her arms tightened slightly which caused me to grin. I nuzzled her neck with my nose. I breathed in slightly, and my senses were everything Quinn. She smelt of vanilla and apples. Green apples in particular. An odd combination, but it worked. All I could hear was Quinn's steady breathing. It filled me with content. Instead of counting sheep, I could fall asleep counting every breath she took.

Her skin felt smooth to the touch. I cautiously reached out, and gently caressed her face. The older woman's face was soft, as were her lips. God her lips. They were soft and full. I couldn't help myself, and I leaned forward, and captured her lips with my own. They tasted like strawberries. Her lip gloss was definitely my favorite. I leaned back, and admired her beauty. She was always beautiful, but their was something about her when she was asleep that captured my attention. All the stress that showed upon her face was swept away. Quinn was at peace.

I was shaken from my examination by a soft knock on the door. I quickly, but carefully slid my way out of the confines of Quinn's arms. When I made it to the door, I smoothed the creases from my shirt, fixed my hair, and opened the door. I was slightly surprised when I found Ashley outside the door.

" Hey. How'd you know I was in here?" I asked while turning to examine the mess that was Quinn's room. Like I had room to complain. My room was worse.

" Aside from the fact that your bedroom door was ajar, and all I saw was a complete horror setting, I knew you'd be wherever Quinn was." There. There was the name yet again. There was no malice behind her words, yet it still cut through me.

" I see." Was all I said.

" Anyway, we dropped your brothers off, and I wanted to see how you were doing." Sadness filled my eyes in liquid form. I was quickly enveloped in a set of arms.

" It's okay. You're okay honey." Ashley repeated over and over. After my tears had decreased and dried, I finally pulled away.

" You know, we should take this somewhere else so we won't wake up Quinn." I whispered. She smirked and raised a single eyebrow.

" Well, well Miss Daniels. Is this your way of suggesting we get a room?" She purred. I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help the chuckle that escaped my mouth.

" I don't know about that, Ashley. Wouldn't Sage get jealous?" I asked half sarcastically, and half serious. I wasn't sure what was going on between the two of them, but if the blush that colored Ashley's cheeks was anything to go on, I'd say it was at least PG-13.

" Wouldn't Quinn get jealous?" She shot back lamely. I smirked at her pathetic attempt at dodging the question. Nevertheless, I let it go. At least for the moment.

" I believe Quinn would become a trigger happy moron." We both shared a laugh, but was cut off by the one in question.

" Who are you calling a trigger happy moron?" Quinn mumbled groggily. Our laughing ceased. I whirled around, but was caught by the waist. I placed my hands on her shoulders.
