The sound of deep breathing filled the tiny room. Zaara was completely asleep. As I lay on the blanket that I had placed on the floor earlier(me and Zaara were going to switch off with the bed every week) I contemplated the events of the day.

First, I had training as usual, Kakashi-sensei went through my sketchbook, I collapsed and went unconscious, I appeared back in my world, I brought my little sister back with me to Konoha, I gave Kakashi-sensei a heart attack, and my sister is head-over-heels for Kiba.

That about summed it up.

Sighing to myself, I wondered how I got into this whole mess, and if I really wanted to get out of it.

*Don't lie to yourself, you would never go back. The only reason you wanted to was because of your sister.

-I'm not lying to myself, just doing some soul-searching.

*Can you do it later? You know, once we're not completely and utterly exhausted?

-Fine

It didn't take long for me to fall asleep.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Groggily, I rubbed my eyes and reached for the miraculously-still-intact alarm clock to turn it off. I sat up slowly, and looked at my sleeping sister. Alarm clocks never worked for her, you either had to call her awake(which usually gets you a few groans in response) or if that didn't work, you had to shake her; In which case she yells at you later for daring to touch her.

"Hey, wake up Baka!" I said, standing by the bed.

"Nooooo....." She groaned, then rolled over and fell asleep again.

I shook her arm.

"DON'T TOUCH MEEEEE!!!" She shrieked, batting my hand away.

"I have to go to training baka, and you can't stay here, so we have to figure out what to do with you."

Just then, there was a knock at the door.

Abandoning my efforts, I walked over to the door and opened it. Sakura stood at the door, holding a scroll in her left hand.

"Morning Sakura, is the scroll from Lady Tsunade?"

"Yep, she wants to see you and Zaara immediately."

"Hmph, I didn't know Tsunade was a morning person..." I grumbled as I accepted the rolled up piece of paper. I scanned the page, taking in the message.

"Alright," I said after a couple minutes. "We'll be there in fifteen minutes." I handed the scroll back to Sakura.

"See you at the office then." She waved as she disappeared.

Closing the door behind me, I walked back to the bed. I stood there for a moment, making sure that Zaara had gone back to sleep, and then promptly ripped the blanket off of her.

"HEY! GIVE THAT BACK!"

"Get out of bed you lazy bum. Lady Tsunade wants to see us. And since when do you ever sleep in?"

"Since when were you ever a morning person?" She groaned, finally sitting up.

"Since I became a ninja, that's when! Now hurry up and get dressed, I told Sakura that we'd be there in fifteen minutes!"

We stood in front of the Hokage's desk silently. I had made sure that Zaara looked presentable, and pounded into her head that she was in the Naruto universe now, and if she didn't want to be a burden to anyone, she needed to pull herself together.
