We were preparing to leave the village hidden in the Sand. Standing in Kazekage's office, Team Kakashi and Team Guy were lined up in front of the desk.

The workspace had an uncharacteristically homey feel to it, though there wasn't much in the room itself besides the desk and a bookshelf.

I still had to lean on someone for assistance(in this case Sakura) and I still felt pain, but it wasn't as bad as before. Sakura concluded that it was an effect of Sasori's poison, which had somehow disappeared without the aid of the antidote, the only trace that it had been there in the first place was my sore body. I assumed that it had to do with the whole Jinchuriki thing, but I was confused as to why the pain didn't go away and my injuries took time to heal. I surmised that different Jinchuriki probably reacted to certain things differently.

After a few minutes of Temari and Kankuro trying to convince us to stay, (but failing) we headed out.

When the last goodbyes and take-cares had been exchanged, we set off into the sea of sand.

A long line of footprints stretched into the distance behind us, the heat radiating from the sand making things a little hazy. I limped along with Sakura, enjoying the companionable silence. Everyone walked contentedly, not having to rush because of me and Kakashi-sensei. But because Kakashi was so drained of energy and was in a worse state than I was, he and Guy-sensei had fallen greatly behind, which Guy clearly did not like.

Suddenly, an idea popped into my head.

"Hey Sakura! Could you lean down a bit and lend me your back for a second? Don't worry, it'll be quick."

"Okaaay..."

Sakura let go of my arm and hunched over slightly. I whipped out my drawing book, sketching quickly. When I finished, I did the handsigns and completed the jutsu. The drawings flew off the paper, landing a short distance away. Two jeeps stood side by side on the sand, looking a little strange in the sunlight because they were the color of my paper.

It took a little more chakra out of me than the first time, since I had only made one for on the journey here as opposed to two, but it wasn't a big deal.

Everyone paused to stare at my creations.

"All right! Girls in one car and guys in the other!"

Slowly walking over to the closest one, I hopped into the drivers seat.

It felt hella good to be behind the wheel again!

Everyone was still staring at me.
"Well come on guys! These things aren't going to drive themselves you know!"

Slowly, Sakura and Tenten got in the jeep. Sakura decided to sit in the back, while Tenten sat up front next to me.

"Are you sure you're up to this, Amira? It isn't taking too much of your chakra?" Sakura asked.

"Nah. I'll be fine." I smiled at her reassuringly.

I looked over to see how the boys were faring, and wasn't surprised a bit when I saw Lee and Naruto fighting over who would drive.

Sighing, I got down and walked painstakingly over to them.

Sakura got up to help me, but I waved her off.

"Neither one of you is going to drive, so you can both shut up right about now!"

Naruto and Lee stopped their bickering to stare at me in disbelief, surprised at my outburst.

"And the fact that you two were fighting shows me that I'm right not to let either of you drive. Besides, do you even know how to work this thing?"
They both shut their mouths.
