We walked to a spot in Central Park. Thor was going to take Loki and the tesseract home where they will be safe. I was upset to leave my new friends but happy to be able to relax again. I felt as if I learned a whole new skill set with these past weeks. I became something. Now, I had to figure out how to use it.

"It was nice to meet you." I said, and Thor bent down to kiss my hand. I smiled and blushed a little.

"Goodbye," he says and shakes Steve's hand. Loki walks in and holds onto the tesseract and him and Thor take their spots before flying high into the air and just like that they were gone.

"So...what next." I ask Steve as we walk back to our car. He smiled and put an arm over my shoulder.

"You know? For once. I'm not really sure."

________

After having one to many drinks and nights with the guys and Natasha, it felt best to take a break. Steve and I found out we were going to be stationed in Pennsylvania from now on at the capital and SHIELDS headquarters. I didn't really remember signing up for them to control my life and every move now, but I suppose that just happens when you can kick ass and have personally met the Norse gods.

"What if we go for a nice leather?" I say, as Steve sits down on a recliner. It was ugly and an off brown color. Plus it would spin, and I didn't like that. "No."

"It's the one." Steve said proudly. I rolled my eyes.

"It is defiantly not the one." Steve takes my hand so I feel it. As he pulls up the tag.

"It even says strong Brazilian leather." Steve say, and begins laughing. I can't help but crack a smile. He scooted over and patted the seat next to him. I sat down and squeezed really tight next to him. It was comfortable, of course I'm not going to tell him that though. "You're at ease. I told you....."

"I hate it." I say, and he flips up the recliner as the foot stool flies up and the head part flies down. I hit my head on Steve's head and he began laughing harder than I've ever seen the guy laugh.

"How may we help the happy couple today?" The stores clerk says, Steve shoots up and holds the tag up. "Yeah, we'd like this one."

I roll my eyes and sit up as the recliner snaps back into place. The clerk walks away to finishing filling in the order and I stand up off the chair. Steve was going to milk that 'happy couple' thing for the rest of the month.

Our apartment was dimly lit and had bookshelves mostly at every turn. It was cozy. I didn't mind it. Of course the chair would have to go eventually. I'm 99% sure Steve bought it just to spite me.

I opened the bottle of champagne and filled two glasses as I sat it back down and walked to the T.V. Room. I handed one to Steve and sat down on the couch as we turned on some movies. Bucky and I never got to see a movie together, we never got to do a lot of things together.

"I can't get drunk anymore." I say as I finish the glass. Steve smirks and we both begin laughing.

"I know. I haven't been drunk in over eighty years." He smiles and sets his down. "Do you want to go out?"

"I'd love to."
