i went up to my room while my mom was still screaming in my face. she kept shaking me for what seemed like forever. i couldn't hear her though and i couldn't feel anything.
i felt no emotion.
i just felt empty and numb.
my mom finally left and i tried to go to sleep, but i couldn't.
so instead i just looked up from my bed at the ceiling until the darkness turned into light.
