i woke up at 3 in the morning to hear your mom crying.
oh no
she was talking with someone the phone.
i heard her footsteps shuffling all over the room and then it traveled to where i was 'sleeping'.
"wake up." her voice cracked. "we need to go to the hospital."
"what happened?" i asked, scared of the answer.
"he was in a car accident." she let out a cry.
