the police arrived and i was brought into an ambulance. i was so happy, that the pain in my stomach didn't hurt as bad. i have dreamed about this moment for so long that i was smiling when i saw them handcuff my mom and put her in the back of the police car.
karma bitch.
my nice neighbor was talking to the police and smiled and waved at me.
"why are you smiling so much? aren't you in pain?" one of the paramedics gave a small little laugh as she held my hand.
"because my prayers have finally been answered." i smiled as some tears slipped.
she gave me a warm smile and we arrived at the hospital.
