Castiel stands in the middle of a field, somewhere he isn't too sure. "Please. I need help. Father?...Brothers?... Sisters?" Cas half yells, looking up towards the sky. Within seconds, the sky flashes and everything is abit swirly to Cas. He stumbles around, but two hands grasp his shoulders. "Heya Castiel. Haven't seen you in like what? A year? And you still haven't finished your job?" A man infront of Cas smirks.
"Gabriel......GABRIEL!! Brother, I haven't seen you in so long. And what do you mean? I didn't even know what my mission was to begin with." Cas tries to explain.
"Really? I thought Dad would have said it loud and clear. You really didn't hear him?" Gabriel says and sits down, flowers quickly growing around him.
Cas shakes his head and sits also, picking one of the flowers and studying it. "Oh. Well, he told you to......wait. Let's make this a game." Gabriel snickers and hops up.
Cas slowly rises, a look of suspicion spreads across his face. "Gabriel, I never enjoyed your choice in games."
"Oh come on! It will be fun! And I will go easy on lil ol Cassie." Gabriel mocks as he pokes Castiel's stomach.
"No. Do not go easy. What is the game?" Cas grumbles as he smacks Gabes hand away.
"Ok. So since little Cassie has begun to develop feelings right? You have to first find......true love." Gabriel smiles when he sees Cas blush at the challenge.
"So...I have to...love somebody? I already do. I love heaven and my brothers and sisters. I love the human race. I love flowers and bees." Cas retorts and Gabe only shakes his head.
"No. You have to find one person. A person you love more than anything. A human being. Someone you would have a profound bond with." Gabe says and pats Castiel's shoulder.
"Good luck Cassie. Call me if you need me." Gabe says and vanishes.
Cas is left speechless. He has to find love? Let alone true love. How does one acquire that?~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Really? Another angel? Can we meet him? He sounds funny? Is he as short as you? What color are his eyes?" Sam rambles as he bombards Castiel with questions about his brother.
"Oh. Um. Yes. Gabriel is another angel. I guess you can meet him. He is quite funny. No, he is a bit shorter in height and his eyes are a golden brown. Like honey." Cas says trying to answer all Sams questions at once.
"Ok. When can we see him?" Charlie asks, sitting down next to Sam.
"Umm, if you wanna see him now, I guess I can-" Cas begins to say and Sam and Charlie yell yes.
"Ok. Ok. Umm....Gabe?! You there?! My friends wanna meet you!" Cas sorta yells up to the ceiling.
Sam and Charlie both look at each other, not knowing if Cas was serious or not. Moments later, all the lights go out and when they come back on, Gabe is standing next to Cas. Charlie screams and Sam jumps and puts a hand on his chest," Gosh dang it Cas! You could have warned us of that!"
"Oh hello there big boy. Did I scare ya?" Gabe snickers and Sams eyes widen and he blushes.
"No.....You just suprised me...." Sam murmured and looked down.
"Oh. Sorry babe. So, why am I here again?" Gabe turns and asks Cas.
"Oh. I just wanted you to meet some of my friends. This is Sam and this is Charlie." Cas says as he points to his friends.
"I've already met puppy boy over there. But hello Charlie."Gabe smiles and shakes her hand.
They hang out for a while. It was mostly Gabe and Charlie talking, with Cas humming or shaking his head to agree. And Sammy sat staring at Gabe, watching his golden eyes move from Cas to Charlie, and how he smiles whenever Charlie said something nerdy or sassy. They where talking when they heard the bunker door open and close, footsteps walking down the stairs and Dean walking into the room. "Oh. Who's this?" He says as he sets him duffle bag next to the doorway.
"Oh! Dean! Hi, this is my brother, Gabriel." Cas says as he gets up and hugs Dean.
Gabriel watches and smirks," Guess you don't have to look that hard, right Cas?" He said and Cas turns around, abit confused.
"What are you...oh. No Gabe! Don't even think about it!" Cas blushes and takes a step away from Dean.
"What? At least you get to-" Gabe begun to say but Cas cuts him off.
"OKAY! See you later Gabe, nice little meeting. See you soon." Cas says loudly so Gabe can't continue what he was going to say.
"Ok. See ya soon you lil cherub".Gabe smirks and vanishes.
An awkward silence filled the room and they all kinda just stood there. Cas could feel Dean looking at him as he looked at the ground. Trying to hide a blush, but failings miserably. Sam was still abit starstruck, Gabe's golden eyes imprinted into his mind. Charlie was just hungry so she got up," Ok. Whatever that was Cas, I hope it wasn't bad or anything. I am starving and it is dinner time. Anyone want burgers?" Charlie asked and they all said yes.
Dean grabs his keys but Charlie stops him," Nope. We are gonna grill these puppies here." She piped up and skipped to the kitchen.~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
So the smoke alarm went off a few times in the process of getting these burgers right. But eventually, Charlie and Dean got a few less charred burgers onto some buns. First to be served was Cas, Dean running over with a small plate and his interpretation of a "Cas-sized burger". Dean smiles and hands Cas the plate, "Here you go. I made it all on my own and I remembered how you like burgers so I made it a lil bit bigger, for you." Cas smiles as he turns his head down, hiding a blush.
Dean struts away, feeling on top of the world. "How did it go lover boy?" Charlie asks as she prepares her own burger.
"What do you mean?" Dean asks a bit confused, only knowing it had to with Cas.
"Oh don't act stupid with me! You went all Gordon Ramsy on me when I tried to flip Cas's burger, and how you tried making his look oh-so-perfect." Charlie says, Dean very slightly blushing and grabbing his burger.
"Let's just go eat." He mumbled and they all returned to the dining area, Cas sitting patiently for them.
When they all sat down, they dug in. With Castiel of course fitting a tiny prayer in before he even touched his food. Dean noticing this, smiling fondly at Cas from the other end of the table. They all are and chatted and laughed. Sam finally remembered about the whole "Cas staying" plan and decided this would be an amazing time to bring it up. "Oh. Hey, guys I'd like to say something really quick." Sam says a bit louder than everyone else.
They looked over a bit suprised, but nonetheless where all ears. "So, lately I have been cleaning out one of the storage rooms because we all have become really close to Cas and I think you all would agree that he should move in. Right?" Sam says the last part abit skeptic.
Then Cas starts thinking," What if they didn't want me here? What if they grimace and tell me to leave?" He has an internal panic attack as he looks at there faces. Relief washing over him and they smile and say yes. After dinner, Sam lead Cas to his room, which was right in between Sam and Deans rooms. The brothers wanted privacy but to be close enough just incase. Sam decided that room would be good cause it was already partially cleaned out.
Walking into the room, Cas smiles, the room was very lightly decorated. With a bed, a dresser and the blue trunk at the foot of the bed. Cas could feel the effort Sam put into getting this room ready for him.
