Castiel's POV
The hunt went well, I guess. We all made it to the spot safely, but we were ambushed shortly after we got there. Me, Sam and Charlie got separated from Dean, which scared the crap out of me. We just got together and he is away, possibly being tortured by demons. But we eventually find him, after killing afew demons, and I can sense something. Something off about Dean, I felt an evil I'd never felt off of him. But he seems to be acting the same. We gank all the demons in the town and are good to go. The towns people thank us, well, they thank Sam and Dean and Charlie. I just stand off behind and let them do their thing. I am not very good with people anyways, so this is good I'm not being noticed.
We get into the car, in the same order we were before. It was late now, so it was quite dark outside. I slide in, scooting into the middle so I can be with Dean. "I was afraid we had lost you today." I whisper and grab his hand.
"Oh. Don't worry about me. I was worried about you. You can barely shoot a gun, even with all the training I did with you." Dean laughs and I feel a pang in my chest.
He doesn't think I'm good enough yet? I thought he did all that practice with me so I could be ready. "Oh. Ok." I whimper and slightly lean away.
He looks down at me and scoffs," What? I hurt the baby angels feelings? I'm just speaking the truth. You shouldn't even be coming with us. You won't ever be ready. Your little heart is too pure to be killing demons and monsters." He laughs and let's go of my hand.
I sit there, completely shocked. I can feel tears welling in my eyes. I can't believe he is saying these things to me. I am trying my best here, to try and fit in and he just says this to me?! I unbuckle my seat belt and scoot to the other side of the car. Dean does nothing to protest, just spreads his legs out for more room. I turn to the window and don't say a word, letting all my tears fall. I'm glad we didn't tell Sam and Charlie about us, or this would be really awkward. The whole car ride was silent, other than the small conversations Sam and Charlie would have. They mostly talked about girls or how Sam wanted to meet Charlie's mystery girl. I just cried, with no sound. I looked out the window and let my tears fall. I was done. I was done getting attached to Dean and letting him hurt me. I know I said that before, but I thought he had changed. I thought he got better. But I guess I was wrong.

~*~they all get back to the motel~*

We walk in and Charlie swan dives into her bed. The lights go on and Sam gasps," Oh my gosh. Cas? Are you ok?!" Sam says softly and comes up to me, rubbing my back.
"Oh shut up. He's fine. He just needs to grow a pair and not be such a little bitch sometimes." Dean says and groans.
I don't even know what to feel anymore, broken or numb? I go with broken, my walls go crashing down. I don't even bother with sobbing, I just let an endless stream of tears escape my eyes as I head to the bathroom. "I'll be r..right back." My voice cracking and shaking.
I have never been treated this way by anyone. Ever. Even Gabriel would treat me with more kindness. I sit on the toilet and try to stop crying. But I hear Dean laughing outside the door and I just let out a broken sob. Then I go with the other emotional route, numb. I stop everything, the tears, the shaking, everything. I stand up and go to the mirror, my face is puffy and tear stained. I wipe my face with a hand towel and leave the bathroom. When I walk out, Sam is waiting for me on the other side, a look of worry on his face as he looks me up and down," Are you ok?"
"Yes. I am fine. Thank you." I nod at his and continue.
I start to pack my things. Grabbing my backpack and throwing everything inside. Dean laughs again," What? Are you gonna run away now? Can't handle it?" Dean taunts.
Sam and Charlie are speechless, looking at me, then at Dean. "Actually, I am going back to the bunker. And no, I should not have to tolerate your shit any longer." I spat at him and he seems abit shocked at first.
But he was not as shocked as Sam and Charlie. There mouths were wide open and their eyes too. Neither knew what to do or say. I just zipped up my bag and vanished. I turned up in my room at the bunker. It would take them a day or two to get back so it should be enough time for Dean to rip his head up out of his ass.

~*~two days later~*~

Castiel wakes up to feet walking around the bunker and the smell of pancakes. He gets up out of bed, his hair a complete mess and in only a pair of sweats. He walk out of the room, trying to rub the sleep out of his eyes when he bumps into someone. Cas opens his eyes, seeing a cut up, pissed Dean,"What the hell?! Watch your fucking step!" Dean hissed and pushes Cas into the nearest wall.
Cas's back hits the wall at a bad angle and he cry's out, but quickly straighten up, not wanting to show too much weakness. He walk into the kitchen and Sam is standing at the stove with a swollen black eye. Charlie is sitting on the couch, a tired and frightful look on her face as she zones out. Cas runs up to Sam, pulling Sam's face down to his," What the hell happened?!" Cas says as he inspects a cut under Sam's swollen eye.
"Oh. These past two days haven't been good Cassie. But I will be fine." Sam shakes his head and takes Castiel's hands away from his face.
"Oh no you won't. You are coming with me so I can disinfect that nasty cut." Cas says and turns off the burner before dragging Sam off to the closest bathroom.
Sam laughs but let's Cas do his thing. Cas pulls Sam to sit on the toilet seat so he can reach his face. Then he looks through the cabinets, looking for the stuff he needs. When he comes up with a rag and peroxide, he sees Sam staring at him. "What?" Cas asks bluntly.
"Oh. I'm just trying to figure out why Dean would play with you like he has. You are amazing Cas, don't let him beat you down." Sam says and smiles sweetly up at Cas.
Sam grabs Cas's hips and pulls him close, hugging him and putting his face on Castiel's chest. Cas just smiles, appreciating Sam and his compassion towards Cas. "Thank you Sam. But now I have to clean you up." Cas says softly and pulls away, lifting Sam's face.
After a while, Sam is all cleaned and bandaged up. They walk out and Dean is sitting in the kitchen, drinking a beer. Oh god. "What now? Mama have to wipe you ass?" Dean snickers and Cas has really had enough.
Castiel explodes," You know what?! I am done with your bullshit Dean. Me and you are having a talk, now." Castiel says, his voice deepening when he finished off that sentence.
Storming over to Dean, he brings two fingers up and places them on his forehead. Only a split second later, the where on a large field, covered with wild flowers. Cas would have enjoyed the beautiful scenery, but he was too busy wailing his fist into Deans face. Punch after punch was layed down on Dean, but Dean had some type of......power. Cas didn't know, but whatever it was, it was helping Dean fight back. And fight back harder. Cas was caught off guard when Dean came and punched back, the extreme force flinging Cas to the ground. Dean jumped on top of him and kept hitting him. When he stopped, they where both bloody and sweating. They stared into each others eyes and Cas tried to read Deans mind, but once again, something was blocking him. Cas looked over Deans body and noticed his eyes. Cas looked closer and almost had a heartattack. "When....why....how did your ey-"Cas tried to say but was cut off by a punch to the jaw.
His vision wavered, he had to blink afew times to regain his sight. "I don't have to explain anything to you." Dean growled and gets up off of me.
"Yes you do. Where did you get that mark?" I ask and he snickers.
"Since when did you become my mother? I am not answering any of your questions." Dean laughs and tries to walk away.
I grab him and we flash to a dark room, dean tied up to a chair and duck tape over his mouth. He struggles for a bit but eventually stops. I take off the duck tape and he spits at me," Let me go you son of a bitch." Dean hisses and his eyes go black.
"So you really agreed to taking on this?" I ask and am not afraid of his eye change.
"Well I guess so Sherlock." Dean mocks and I take out a canteen of holy water, splashing it all over Dean.
Dean screams and tries to lean away but doesn't get far. "Why Dean? Why do this?" I ask, wanting answers.
"Oh it was stupid. Haha. Funny story, they captured me and told me they would kill you guys if I didn't let them turn me into a demon and I let them. To be honest, best choice ever." Dean smiles and his eyes blink back to normal.
I can't believe he did that. For us. To protect us. I need to get him back. I flash into the bunker living room and look at Sam and Charlie. "You guys have to see this."
