Fixing Dean

Castiel's POV
So. Charlie, Sam and I have been for the past few days, researching how we are going to fix Dean. He was turned into a demon, so a lot of solutions were knocked off the block right in the beginning. We had a few options to try but they where really dangerous and we didn't know if they would work on him anyways. Sam already tried exorcising him, and all he did was laugh at us. But we where not giving up on him. We needed to save Dean, we need him. I need him. I know he is saying rude things to me right now, but it isn't him. It's what they did to him. I know for a fact he wouldn't say these things to us.

~*~ two weeks later~*~

Ok. We think we have finally found something that may work. It is a reverse weaving spell. The demons that did this to Dean weaved a piece of a demons soul with his, tainting his soul and the evil leaching into his. If we are lucky, this unweaving spell can allow me to reach in and separate the two souls. But before we do anything, Sam says he needs to bring somebody with a little more knowledge into this to help us. I agree of course, if Sam says we need help, we most likely do. So, after a day or two of waiting, we are where we are now, waiting on a gentleman of the name Bobby, and by the sounds of it, he is very close to the Winchester boys. The front door is pounded and Sam jumps up to make it to the door. His eye looking a lot better, the swelling going down thanks to my persistence in making him constantly put ice on it and clean it all the time. The door opens and I hear talking, but decide against listening in, not wanting to intrude. Charlie hasn't been home for a while. She finally told us about her girlfriend. Dorothy, she works at a bookstore a few towns out. They used to go out for coffee once in a while but now Charlie stays the night a lot and they spend a lot of time together. I am happy for her, to be able to break from this sort of life. But it is kind of lonely here with just me and Sam. And having Dean chained up in the basement doesn't help. He is always yelling at us or "praying". Praying is his only direct contact to me, and he uses it every chance he can. He always tells me how worthless I am and how I need to grow a pair and let him go. How he chose to do this on his own, wanting to be this way. Wanting to be away from Sam and I. But I didn't believe any of it. I eventually turned my, what Sam likes to call it "Angel Radio" off, and am completely blocking him out.
Sam, and I guess Bobby, walk down the stairs and Sam smiles," Oh. Hey Cas. This is Bobby. Bobby, this is my amazing friend Castiel."
"What are you?" Bobby immediantly asks and death stares me.
"I...I am a.....I am an Angel sir." I stutter and he slightly nods.
"Ok. Where is Dean?" Bobby turns around and asks Sam, I let out a breath of relief.
"He's......downstairs." Sam finally says and we lead Bobby downstairs.
The door to Dean was a huge iron door, with all sorts of demon symbols and traps on the front. Sam walks over and pulls the door open, a laugh erupting from within. "I knew you guys would come around! I am irresistible!" Dean yells and as we walk in.
Bobby sneers and walks over to Dean,"What have they done to you boy?"
"What do you mean? I think I am perfectly fine. What about you guys?" Dean smiles and looks around.
I flinch when he looks at me, his eyes blinking black. I shiver," Ok guys. We either do this now or I have to leave."
Sam nods and gives a book to Bobby," Do you think this will work?" Sam whispers.
Bobby looks at the book for a minute and nods,"Actually, I think this may work." Bobby sets the book down and starts mixing some things in a bowl.
That was que for us to set out to work. I went out and got a few supplies and Sam and Bobby prepared at home. This is happening, we may actually fix Dean. We may be able to get him back. I come back with the last ingredient and Bobby quickly tosses it into the bowl and points at Sam. Sam begins to speak in Enocian and Bobby lights the mixture on fire. Setting it inside of the demons trap, the pattern lighting up when Sam spoke. I watched on the side, waiting for my purpose in this. I watched Dean, I watched for any sign of stress or pain. And I how I got what I wished for, Dean began to whimper and struggle. Then he cried out when Sam got to a certain part, I could feel his soul trying to untangle itself. "No! Stop! Please!"Dean cried out as Bobby splashed holy water on him to speed up the process.
"No! Bobby, please! Sammy! Cas...baby! Don't do this Cassie!" Dean crys out and Sam and Bobby look at me for a second.
I blush and turn around," Just continue..." not trusting myself until I knew my blush was gone to turn around.
When the time came, I just walked up to him, holding my hand up, causing Sam to stop. I reach my hand to his chest, slightly pressing my hand into him but not completely. Dean tried to scoot away but I grabbed the arm of the chair. My apparent strength showing as no matter what he did, the chair didn't move not one inch. I close my eyes, allowing my grace to do the rest of the work. I moved my grace throughout his body, touching every bit of soul he tried hiding away. I blocked out everything around me, knowing this would be extremely painful for Dean, and hearing him wouldn't help the process. So, I started, I started pulling and tearing every single piece of impurity from him. I dug and scraped all there was that wasn't supposed to be there. When I felt I was done, I pulled back, all my grace retracting from Dean. When I came back to my body, I open my eyes. Sam and Bobby look at me like they saw God. Eyes wide and pale faces. I look down at Dean and understand their state, he looked like he had been through a war. Sweat dripping down his face, eyes red and tears still pouring from his eyes. He looked tired and broken, but I don't know if I cleaned his soul completely. Right now, I had to block out all emotion, I couldn't let the demon part of him tear me down. If it was still in there. I walk up to Dean, his head is tilted back, breath ragged. "Dean. Is it gone? It is all gone?" I ask and pull his head up, is now face to face.
He looks at me, eyes glistening and he smiles. "Yeah. It's gone. I swear. Thank you Cas. Thank you." Dean smiles and cries. I let him go and stand up," Check him Sam. I am drained.....I think I need to sleep for a bit." I say as I walk out the door.
Sam nods and goes to work, using silver and holy water. I hear no screams, no yelling. Just Dean crying. I go to my room and literally just lay in my bed. I am still wearing all my clothes and my shoes are still on, but I don't care. I am dog tired. Sleep eventually takes over, darkness filling my mind.
