"...Why'd you tell her you'd let her have a party?" Louis snapped in frustration.
"'Cause you told her she couldn't have one." Eleanor snapped back as she leaned against the kitchen counter.
"There was a reason I said that." Louis hissed. "I didn't want to give her a damn birthday party."
"So what you weren't going to do anything for her birthday?"
"I didn't say I wasn't doing anything, I just said I'm not giving her a party."
"She wants a damn party."
"I said no!"
"I said yes!"
Tellie groaned as she walked into the kitchen, neither Louis or Eleanor noticing as she sat on a stool at the island counter.
"...She's not your daughter." Louis shot back.
"Not your daughter my ass," Eleanor scoffed.
"I said no party."
"I said party."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"N-"
"I'm seven and I'm more mature than you guys." Tellie cut in.
"Tellie go upstairs." Louis snapped sharply, his eyes narrowed in anger.
"No," Tellie retorted. "I don't want to-you always make me go upstairs it's boring up there."
"Tellie, there's three freaking story's to go on, go use the play station or something."
"But-"
"Just go do something that's not in here!" Louis shouted. Tellie slid off the bar stool and slowly moped towards the doorway occasionally looking back at Louis her lips pouted and eyes full of plead.
"Tellie." Louis hissed.
"I'm going!" Tellie snapped back before storming out of the room, the sound of stomping in the staircase was echoing into the kitchen.
"I swear to god she's gonna break the staircase one day," Louis mused.
"Well, maybe if you let her have a birthday party," Eleanor retorted.
"If I wanted to let her have a birthday party I would've told her she could have one."
"Louis, the girl wants a freaking party. That's all i've been hearing about for months now,"
Louis sighed in frustration. "I s-"
"If you don't give her a birthday party I am, that's that." Eleanor snapped before stalking towards the doorway Tellie had exited out of minutes before.
"El!"
"I'm going Lou!"
Louis quickly followed Eleanor out of the kitchen stumbling on his feet as she neared the door.
"Are you drunk?" She questioned with a light laugh.
"El, there's something I've been meaning to talk to you about..."
"And that is?"
"Well..." Louis trailed off as he stood close to Eleanor their lips nearly touching. "I love you."
"...Chantelle!" Niall shouted as he stormed down the staircase. "I can't freaking watch them!"
"To bad!" Chantelle snapped as she grabbed her hand bag and keys. "I've got a wedding to cater and you've known that for weeks!"
"Since when?"
"Do you ever look at the calendar?"
"Can't you at least wait 'til they're up? You know they won't listen to me."
"It's six in the morning Niall!" Chantelle snapped as she opened the front door. "You've got at least an hour to prepare!"
Niall gaped at the front door as Chantelle walked out, he was absolutely shocked that she'd so easily walked out the front door at six in the morning knowing her kids where upstairs sleeping.
Niall groaned and turned around, his eyes landing on Arizona standing at the bottom of the staircase clutching a stuffed bunny.
"Mummy..." She muttered her eyes glued to the front door.
"She'll be back soon." Niall assured walking towards the staircase. Arizona pouted tears forming in her eyes.
"Ari it's alright." He added.
Arizona cried as Niall picked up furiously throwing the bunny to the ground, then crying that she wanted the little pink toy.
"Damn you Chantelle." He muttered to himself
Bitter. That's all that filled the room as Darian and Zayn stared at Doctor Montgomery in awe.
"So the-the..." Darian couldn't spit the words out, she could hardly believe the words she'd just heard, and couldn't comprehend the idea.
"The heart is growing outside the baby's body." Doctor Montgomery repeated carefully. "It's fine as long as its in the womb, but once it's out we'll have to operate quickly."
"But it can die?" Zayn asked. "Chances are, he or she will die."
Doctor Montgomery sighed but nodded, Darian's eyes widened more.
"You can-can fix it right?"
"We'll try, but you should know, the odds aren't exactly good for this procedure..."
