"Why's he got that thing over his heart?" Tellie asked curiously. She looked at Ryder fascinated by him as he reached his small hands up.

"I'll explain later..." Louis replied looking to Zayn with a reassuring smile. "Mate she'll be okay."

"Who will be okay?" Tellie asked looking from Zayn to Louis.

"Don't worry Tellie." Zayn said.

"Where's Aunty Darian? Shouldn't she be here?"

Zayn breathed in. He hadn't been told a single piece of information about Darian whatsoever. And after hours he could only think of the worst. Even through Louis' comforting comments he didn't seem to find anyway of feeling better-until he looked at Ryder. Ryder had Darian written all over him, his pale skin and brown eyes. The way his face was, his lips, his nose. He was more like Darian then Zayn. And Zayn liked that.

"Mr Malik."

Zayn looked to the doorway. Doctor Montgomery walked in, her hair out and face showing no clues to what she was going to say.

"Your wife's in recovery, and will be up on her feet in no time. So, you're welcome to go see her-"

"I can't leave him." Zayn said bluntly.

"I understand." Doctor Montgomery smiled. "Room 314 when you're ready."

"Thank you." Zayn replied as Doctor Montgomery left the room. Zayn looked to Louis. "You can see her if you want..."

"I've actually got somewhere to be in a couple of minutes.Do you mind keeping Tellie here with you? It's only going to be a couple if minutes..."

"Sure."

"Thanks mate."

Louis felt out of place as he walked through the Kew gardens, he could see Eidee standing looking on to the pond.

"Eidee." Louis said as he walked over to her. She looked over to him, her eyes filled with worry and confusion.

"Louis." Eidee replied softly. "I was really shocked when you said this place..."

"Why?" Louis questioned. "Because its where I proposed to you or because it's just plain weird to be here."

Eidee sighed. "The first one... Lou, you deserve an explanation..."

"You know, I thought I did too,"

Eidee stared at Louis in confusion, she had no idea where he was going with this but she didn't interrupt. She just carefully watched Louis as he gazed at the pond.

"But I don't. You see, I thought I loved you. I really did think I was ready to spend the rest of my life with you. But once you'd left it was all clear to me. I love you, but not how I thought I did. It's always been Eleanor, and you knew that. Eidee I'm glad you left, as rude as it sounds I am. "Cause if you stayed and we did get married we'd end up being one of those couples who spoke in the hallway or occasionally sat down for a meal together. We wouldn't have been happy..."

"That's why I left." Eidee explained slowly. "You're right. Eventually we would've realised we didn't actually love each other, and lets face it. We're both to proud to admit it wasn't working if it had happened."

Louis chuckled. "Yeah. Eidee you should go. Go and travel the world like you always wanted to."

"I think I might." Eidee replied. "Let's keep in touch."

"Invite me to your wedding." Louis muttered with a laugh as he hugged Eidee.

"As long as I'm invited to your and El's."
