It was quiet as Louis sat on the bed his laptop in his lap and Tellie lying next to him occasionally whimpering in her sleep while clutching tightly to Louis' arm. Louis felt guilty everytime he watched Tellie scream every night in her sleep. Louis bit his lip watching as Tellie whimpered again tightening her clasp on his arm.
'What would it be like if me and Phoebe stayed together.'
Louis somehow thought there was two outcomes to the question, and somewhat he was right and he just didn't know it, but as his thoughts took overhead somehow was in a different world-
"...Phoebe! Have you seen my phone charger?" Louis called as he rummaged from draw to draw in his room groaning when he found nothing.
"No!" Phoebe shouted back from the bathroom. "Ask Tellie!"
"Tellie!"
"She's down stairs Louis!"
"I know!"
Louis got up from his knees and stalked out of the bedroom almost feeling relieved to be away from Phoebe.
He jogged down the staircase running his fingers through his hair before pulling on his beanie.
"Tells," He started as he walked into the kitchen. "Did you touch my phone charger?"
"Yep." Tellie replied curtly. "Mummy wanted it so I gave it too her."
"Is that so...?"
"Yep. Am I still going to Uncle Niall's tonight?"
"I don't know ask your mother."
Tellie gulped. "I don't wanna talk to her..."
Louis furrowed his eyebrows in confusion as Phoebe briskly walked into the kitchen her long brown hair now tied up in a bun and her green eyes coated in mascara.
"I'm going to work see ya at six." She said as she grabbed a bottle of water from the counter.
"What's Tellie's problem with you?" Louis inquired, Tellie grew pale at his words and Phoebe just looked shocked.
"What?" Phoebe turned to Tellie. "Do you have a problem sweetie?"
"No." Tellie replied instantly.
"I'm going now, I'll be home at six." Phoebe said before turning on her heels and leaving the kitchen.
"What?" Tellie asked as Louis stared at her as if to say 'seriously?'. "I'm going up-"
"Come on I've gotta do some stuff get your jacket." Louis cut in. "And you can tell me what your problem with your mother is too."
"Daddy-"
"Teej, get your jacket, we'll talk in the car baby." Louis said, he left the room and Tellie followed, grabbing her jacket from the hall as she did. "Tells come on."
"I'm coming!" Tellie ran down the hallway, only stopping once she followed Louis into the garage.
"No running sweetie." He mused. "I'm pretty sure your mother went over that with you. Am I right?" Tellie nodded. "As I thought, so what's up with you and mum aye?" He put his key in the car door. "You can talk to me about it love."
"Nothing." Tellie insisted. "Daddy, can I go with you tomorrow?"
Louis opened the passenger door of the car. "Baby you know the answer to that." He ushered Tellie into the car, shutting the door and walking around to the other side and briskly getting in. "Tomorrow's your day with mum." Louis finished.
