Eidee felt sick with herself. She practically knew Louis had a problem with what she did. Why wouldn't he? She lied to him for two years yet he acted like it was nothing. But Eidee could see right through the fake smile she'd seen him put on for the whole year. And now as she sat in Lydia's office reciting the scene, she suddenly noticing something she'd seemed to ignore all this time.
"...Well, Eidee," Lydia started sympathetically. "I've been warning you about this ever since you told me about the abortion. You should've told him straight up.
"It's just, I didn't even plan on him finding out." Eidee started.
"I can tell you what he's thinking this very moment." Lydia said Eidee staring curiously at her. "He's thinking, can I trust her. Has she lied about anything else, what happens if she get's pregnant again, will she lie again. Eidee, he's obviously got some trust issues with you now."
"Do you think we'll make it through this?" Eidee asked quietly, her heart was pounding as Lydia looked at her hands. Eidee was almost in tears as she gazed at Lydia as if asking for an answer.
"Honestly, from what you said you's to have been up to you guys might make it, but my honest opinion... Eidee I could tell you that you guys will make it through this. I could. But I'd be lying."
"...Hold up a sec," Chantelle said looking at Eidee in shock. "You told him that you had an abortion, then you guys had sex?"
"Aren't you worried your kids are gonna hear you?" Eidee hissed as she looked towards the doorway leading towards the lounge room where she could slightly see Jace and Arizona sitting on the lounge eyes glued to TV.
"Yes, that's why we're in the kitchen and they're in the lounge room." Chantelle shot back as she bent down and looked in the oven.
"What are you making anyway?" Eidee asked.
"Brownie's now stop trying to change the subject. What's up with you and Lou?"
Eidee sighed. "I don't know, yes we had sex. But still, it's not bothering him as much as I thought it would."
"Isn't that a good thing?" Chantelle asked as she pulled the tray from the oven.
"Kinda, I guess." Eidee shrugged. "But I was expecting some sort of reaction-I prepared for some sort of reaction. He's acting like it doesn't bother him. You should've seen hm last week when we dropped Tellie of at El's. The way he looked at her, the way she looked at him."
Chantelle listened closely flicking a strand of her dark blonde hair from her face.
"When it's just us two I think 'we're happy, we're gonna spend the rest of our lives happy' but it's when Tellie's around that thought changes-and it's not Tellie I love her-it's the fact that, she reminds me. He's going to see Eleanor. That he'll look at her the way he's never looked at me."
"I still don't understand why Tellie goes to Eleanor's." Chantelle mused as she picked up a brownie.
"Because, in Louis' will if anything happens to him Eleanor becomes Tellie's legal guardian, backup guardian is Lottie. I just think if anything does happen to him and Tellie does go to Eleanor, he doesn't want Eleanor to be a stranger to her, he's been through having to deal with Tellie when he didn't know her, guess he kinda doesn't want Eleanor or Tellie to go through with it."
"But his will, that'll change when you guys get married right?"
"Highly doubted, he's never trusted me when it comes to Tellie."
"I don't fully trust Niall with our kids, and they're his." Chantelle commented her eyes narrowed in seriousness.
"Why not? Niall's great with them." Eidee replied.
