"...Come on it's gonna be fun," Louis said as he pulled Eidee towards the front door.
"Come on Louis, what could be fun about dropping Tellie off at school?" Eidee retorted.
"It's not dropping her off at school, it's what we're gonna do after it."
Eidee smirked. "And exactly what is that?"
"You'll see." Louis replied. "Come on let's go. Tellie's probably pretending to die in the car."
"She is one dramatic child." Eidee muttered as they walked out the front door.
"One dramatic child who apparently hates me."
"What do you mean?"
"Last night I told her she wasn't going to her friends this weekend so she said she hates me."
Eidee's face soften. "It's the first time she said that to you isn't it?"
"Kinda..." Louis muttered as he locked the front door. "I mean she may have said it before but if she did I don't remember."
"She didn't mean it. Trust me, she freaking loves you more than you know. Kids say they hate their parents all the time, I know I did. "
"But your parents are total weirdos."
"No, they're to normal, perfectly normal people who think they're superior to man kind."
"Exactly, you have an excuse to hate your parents. Tellie doesn't."
"I still love my parent." Eidee shrugged as they walked down the driveway towards the car. "No matter what, they'll always be my parents."
"I know but I don't see why Tellie could possibly hate me." Louis said as he got in the drivers seat of the car and Eidee got in the passengers. "She has no reason to have such a bad attitude. And if she didn't back chat she would be going to her friends house this weekend."
"I can hear you." Tellie hissed, she glared at Louis from the back seat, watching as he started the car.
"Good." Louis responded. "I hope you can hear me Tellie and I bloody hope you learn from this."
"It was Corey's fault! I should be allowed to go to Jessie's-" Louis cut Tellie off, turning around in his seat so he was looking at her.
"No you shouldn't." He said bluntly. "You should know better the moment Corey touched you, you should've come to me not push him back. He's two years older than you Teej, he could've easily hurt you. And maybe if you cut the attitude I would still let you go, but you didn't so suck it up princess."
"Lou!" Eidee snapped, she gently slapped his arm causing him to turn back around. "Just leave her alone. She's freaking seven years old. Don't tell her to 'suck it up'."
"She should know better-"
"She's seven." Eidee cut in. "Just leave her alone."
Louis wanted to say something more but he didn't, he just drove.
"She should suck it up though." He said momentarily his voice hushed. "As you said she's seven. She should know better."
"Lou, who cares." Eidee sighed. "You think that okay but I disagree and think you're being to harsh."
"How am I being to harsh? She did something she's getting punished it's simple."
"Honestly, I think if you were going to punish her there's better ways to do it. You're just scared of letting her go somewhere else for a night where you can't check on her every hour."
