Louis had craved for so long to hear the words come from Eleanor's mouth, he didn't even know how badly he wanted to hear leaner speak the words. But as he and Eleanor lied on the lounge together, he realised how much he needed her.
"What are we?" Louis asked softly.
"Let's just take it slow okay?" Eleanor replied. "Baby steps."
"Why? We were ready to get married before..."
"That was two years ago Louis...and you cheated on me. I just...let's take it slow. Please? I just want to know if I can trust you again."
"You can." Louis explained softly. "You can trust me El."
"Let's just take it slow. Please." Eleanor replied leaning closer into Louis.
"Okay."
Louis kissed Eleanor's cheek. "I'm gonna go make sure Tellie's okay."
"Kay," Eleanor replied as Louis rose from the lounge. He quickly walked out of the lounge room running his fingers through his hair. He jogged up the stairs Eleanor's words lingering in his mind.
'I just want to know of I can trust you again.'
Louis narrowed his eyes in confusion as he saw the light shining through the small gap under Tellie's door.
'What the fuck...?'
Confusion painted across his face, he opened door looking plainly annoyed as he looked at Tellie sitting on the floor her iPad in hands.
"What are you doing?" Louis asked making Tellie snapped her head up her eyes widening in fear.
"Uh..."
"I told you to go to bed three hours ago Cristell."
"I..." Tellie stuttered, her eyes were filled with fear as Louis curled his lip.
"How long have you been on you iPad?"
"A little while...I wanted to hear what you and El where saying but you's got quite..."
"Get into bed Tellie." Louis muttered. "And give me your iPad."
"Are you and Eleanor together?" Tellie asked rising to her feet. She handed the iPad to Louis fear across her still.
"Tellie-"
"I deserve to know." Tellie snapped bluntly.
"We'll talk about it tomorrow love," Louis replied as Tellie got into bed.
"So you are?" Tellie asked, hope filled her eyes as she stared questionably at Louis.
"Just go to sleep Tells." Louis murmured as he kissed Tellie's forehead.
"Daddy?"
"Mmm?"
Tellie hesitated before speaking. " I-don't worry... Good night..."
"Night baby girl-I better not come back up here and see you up again."
Tellie nodded as she pulled the blanket tighter around her shoulders closing her eyes as Louis placed her iPad on the chest of draws by the door.
Louis gave one last look to Tellie before flicking the light off and leaving the room before closing the door.
Louis put his hand in his pocket feeling his phone vibrating in his hand as he pulled it out.
"Hello?" He asked.
"Mr Tomlinson, I'm Lydia James' secretary. She wanted me to let you know if you're still interested in her seeing your daughter you can come to her office tomorrow at ten."
"Oh, okay um, thank you."
"...Are you one hundred percent sure?" Niall asked wearily.
"Yes." Chantelle replied. "I love dogs-beside's I think J.J and Ari won't leave unless we get one."
Niall laughed as he kept his eyes on Jace and Arizona who both looked intrigued by the pet store.
"Little dog or big dog?" Niall asked.
"Little." Chantelle replied instantly.
"Mummy,," Jace started as he looked innocently up at Chantelle his eyes twinkling mischievously. "I want that one."
Jace had his finger pointed towards the Labrador puppies.
"No..." Chantelle trailed off shaking her head.
"Why not?" Jace asked whiningly.
"'Cause when it grows it's gonna be really big..."
"So?"
"Little dogs bud," Niall said. "We're only getting a little dog."
Arizona smirked. "That one."
She pointed to the small Jack Russell puppy barking playfully in the pen.
"What do you think?" Niall asked looking to Chantelle.
"Yeah."
"Can we get it?" Arizona asked smiling sweetly from Niall to Chantelle.
"Yes, we'll get that one."
"Can I name it?" Arizona asked grinning ear to eat as she looked at the little dog.
"What do you wanna call it?" Chantelle replied as Niall left her side, already in conversation with the girl at the counter.
"Scuts."
Tellie seemed to find it amusing how Lydia asked her questions, she didn't know why she found it hilarious, but she contained the urge to laugh hysterically and just kept her lips in thin line.
"Is there anything that happens at school?" Lydia asked her eyes narrowed in thought. Tellie's face went pale and the urge to laugh was no longer there.
"No..." She lied softly,
"Your dad says you have night terrors, do you want to tell me what they're about?"
"I don't know... I don't want them to know."
"Who to know?"
"Dad and the rest, they won't get it." Tellie mumbled looking down at the white floor, Lydia's black and white office had confused Tellie at first, she couldn't understand why anyone would want to be surround by only two colours everyday of their life, but the more Tellie thought about it the more sense it made.
"I want tell anyone Tellie." Lydia replied truthfully. "What ever you say will stay between you and I."
"Okay..." Tellie replied softly.
"What happens in your nightmares? Is it your imagination?"
"No."
Lydia furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.
"What do you mean?"
"They're not nightmares really..." Tellie muttered with a shrug.
"What are they then?" Lydia asked trying her hardest to sound child appealing.
"Memories."
