Me and Bella walked to our Defense Against the Dark Arts class, we were early so we waited outside. Professor Dunbar walked out "ah you must be Bella and Raven...Dumbledore told me that you'd be coming" we entered the classroom and sat at the front desks "yes, Dumbledore had told me of your intelect when it comes to Defense Against the Dark Arts...I hope you don't mind being put in with the third and fourth years do you?"

"No sir" he nodded

"Yes, very well I shall hand you your parchments and I want you to write everything you know about defesive and offense spells for during duels" 'childs play' we took out our quills and began writing.

A few minutes later

The rest of the class wondered in and the Professor took our papers "I will grade these and see if you are both capable of taking part in this course" we nodded and looked around. It was a Slytherin/Griffindor class and my brother was sitting at the back. Professor Dunbar explained the course to the older years who weren't interested in the slightest

"Ok everyone take out your wands" I reached into my robe and pulled out my 12 and three quarter inch Black Walnut wand with Baslisk horn and weak flexibility. I stunbled across this wand in my fathers attic and it bonded to me right away. Father could never use it as it always rejected him but it accepted me tight away and i've used it ever since. "Everyone stand up!" We all stood up "now one of the main things a wizard and witch must master is the ability to block incoming objects and to deal offensive attacks" he walked the length of the classroom "the first spell you will learn in Protego...it is a sheild charm that will momentarily protect you from incoming attacks" he flicked his wand and all the chairs and tables stood either side of the room stacked up "Miss Howler and Miss Terri if you would" we walked to the middle of the room and stood opposite eachother "the offensive spell to use is Stupefy...I assume you both know the actions?"

"Yes sir!"

"Good...begin!" We smirked at once anothwr before casting and blocking spells whilst moving around the room

"Expelliarmus!" My wand flew out of my hand

"Accio wand!" I caught my hand "Expelliarmus!" Her wand flew out of her hand "Stupefy!" She got hit by the spell. I walked over and picked her wand up, I helped her up and gave her, her wand back "yes...excellent simply excellent! You two are very gifted fighters!" We shook hands "Yes...the rest of you practise those spells until the end of the lesson, Raven, Bella follow me" we entered his office

"Yes I must say I have never seen two first years fight like that in a very long time" he looked at me "Raven...how did you manage to summon back your wand?" I chuckled

"I've been practising wandless magic since I was little...i'm a natural" he nodded "Yes it would appear so and you Bella...your skills are just as talented as Raven" she smiled

"I would practise with my older brothers and sisters...i'm agile and quick in the sense" he chuckled

"yes...you certainly had Raven on her toes" he stood up "well...you are both dismissed, I expect great things from the two of you" we nodded and left his office

"Goodbye professor" we grabbed our bags and headed out "what do you have now?" I looked at her

"Flying...you?" "Charms" we got to a corridor where we had to seperate "See you later?" I smiled

"See you later" I began walking to my very first flying lesson. I hope Sapphire will talk to me.
