I froze when Raven's transformation happened. My hair turned purple. As much as I didn't want to I had to run. Not to farm just enough so I was hidden from her sight. I hid behind a tree and watched her - or her werewolf form at least - sniff around. This must have been her secret she didn't want to tell me. Did she think I would drop her as a friend? She's crazy! I continued to watch as Wolf Raven wandered around the forbidden forest looking for pray. Then it popped into my head. Her nickname. Wolfrick! I gasped in realisation, which was probably the stupidest thing I could have actually done. Wolfrick, as I am now going to call Raven's werewolf form, turned her head and sniffed the air. She came in my direction and I stopped dead. I didn't even dare to breath. Wolfrick got closer and closer. I began to panic, as much as I didn't want to. I knew that inside the creature was my friend and that soon enough she would turn back to normal. Wolfrick lost interest when she couldn't mind me. I let out a silent sigh of relief. It was then that she saw a bunny. She licked her lips hungrily. My eyes widened. The poor bunny rabbit. Without thinking I did the most dangerous, most epic and stupidest thing in the world (Out ranking the other stupid thing I did by a long shot). I picked up a stick and tossed into a bush next to me. Worlfrick's ear perked up as she heard the noise. She followed it, growling. My stupid plan seemed to keep her distracted, so I kept it up throughout the whole night. I found a stick and threw it in different places to keep Wolfrick amused until the sun came up. When it finally did Wolfrick began to change. I winced and cringed as I heard the snapping of bones. Finally, Wolfrick turned into a cloth-less, unconscious Raven. I ran to the spot we where originally in and grabbed her clothes. I ran back and began to cloth her. A female professor then came across us. She saw me and instantly called Dumbledore over. He was obviously at the other side of the forest, waiting for the female teacher to cloth her. He came over and saw me. He asked the female teacher to take Raven to a room where she could rest. He asked me to follow him. I gulped, my hair turning light pink as I followed him to his office. We stopped at an eagle statue that was blocking our way "Pear drops" he said. The statue moved to reveal a spiralling staircase. I was nervous. My hair had begun to show hints of very dark purple. I was terrified I had gotten Raven into trouble. I had never been to Dumbledore's office before. It was amazing. It had gadget and gizmo's I had never seen before. Next to his desk was a Phoenix that looked like it had just been re-born from its ashes. As much as I wanted to over and look at it I thought better, following Dumbledore to his desk "Take a seat Miss Bane" he said, sitting down at one side of the desk while I took a seat on the other side, my hair becoming more purple than light pink. Dumbledore reached for the bowl next to him "Would you like an every flavoured bean? I have gone off them ever since I got an unfortunate vomit flavour"

"Um..." I hesitated "No thank you sir" he nodded and put the bowl back in its original spot.

"I hope you understand Miss Bane" he started calmly "That what you did tonight was both very brave and very dangerous" I nodded, my throat being too dry with fear to say anything. Dumbledore continued "In her werewolf state Miss Howler cannot tell friend from foe" I began to shake, my hair now fully purple. Raven was going to get in trouble and it was all my fault

"But sir" I managed to croak out "I'm sorry, I mean no disrespect, but I couldn't just leave Raven all alone. She could have been hurt. She's my friend, I could maybe even consider her my best friend" Dumbledore smiled

"And that is exactly why I am awarding you with 50 house points for your bravery and friendship" I froze, unsure what to say, my hair turned yellow and I smiled

"Thank you sir but I really don't deserve them" I admitted "As you said it was foolish of me, I could have hurt myself, or even worse, hurt Raven" Dumbledore chuckled

"Despite all that, I think you deserve them" I smiled

"Thank you sir" He nodded

"Miss Bane. I am terribly sorry for having to being this up" I stiffened "But I know that if Miss Howler is able to trust you with her biggest secret, you will be able to trust her with yours" my hair turned blue as I got a sudden flashback from my past, from the incident that still gives me nightmares each night, nightmares I have to hide from Dolly and Izzy.

"Yes sir, I think you're right" I mumbled, tears filling my eyes. Dumbledore was right. The guilt was eating me up inside, maybe if I told someone the pain would become bearable.

"You may go rest Miss Bane" Dumbledore said softly "I'm sure Madame Pomfry will let you sleep in the hospital wing after you have been for your check up with her after the potion incident" I nodded, The exhausted was beginning to hit. I slowly walked to the hospital wing. I don't know how but Dumbledore must have informed her in some way because after I arrived Madame Pomfry already had a bed set up for me, along with a sympathetic smile. She give me a quick check over before she determined I was 'still a bit poorly' and let me go into one of the beds. As my head hit the soft pillow my heavy eyes closed and I instantly into an uncomfortable, nightmare-filed fell asleep.
