When Sapphire ran off, I didn't bother giving chase. I sighed and went to pick up my stuff. I had a free period so I was gonna spend my time in the library researching werewolf characteristics. No particular reason why just because "Miss Howler!" I turned around and saw the teacher running towards me "Raven...I couldn't help but notice you're ability to block Miss Bane's path extremely fast as well" I looked away

"Thanks Professor"

"This has never been allowed before but how would you like to try out for the Slytherin quiddich team?" I sighed

"I don't see the problem...but I reccomend you speak to Dumbledore about my condition as it may interfere with playing" she nodded and I walked away

"Hey Youngblood" I looked to my left and saw Remus

"Hey Remus...what are you doing here?" He shrugged

"Took a break from studying and just happened to bump into you" I nodded

"Remus? Can I ask you something...in private?" He nodded and we walked to a secluded part of the corridor

"What is it?" I sighed "I have only changed a few times...but this time it'll be different what will happen the day after?" He rested a hand on my shoulder

"You will be placed in a secure room within the castle for the day, no classes. Food and water will be provided" I nodded

"Thank you Remus, I wasn't sure" I began to walk away

"There's a full moon in a few days" I bowed my head

"I know" I decided against going to the library and instead went down to Potions.

The door creaked open revealing a empty class, I stepped inside

"Ah Raven...what can I do for you?"

I stepped forward to Slughorn "i've got a free period and was wondering if I could practise more Potions?" He beamed at me

"Of course! Of course! You know, I was talking to Professor Dunbar he said that you are a excellent fighter" I shrugged

"Guess i'm just talented at it" I sat down and got my book out

"Mind if I try Firewood Tonic?" He looked at me "it's very complex but alright" he got my ingredients and left me to it

"Professor?"

He walked over

"Yes" I pointed at the page

"It says here that you're to exact the beetle juice would it not be a better solution to skin the beetles then put them in since the skin has the essential oils and healing capabilitys needed to treat Firewood reactions?" He read over the instructions

"You're right Miss Howler most definitely right" I got my quill and changed the instruction. I skinned the beatles and finished the batch before pouring it into bottles

"What do you want me to do with these?" He looked up from his desk "Leave them here...i'll have to test them not that I doubt your abbilities but I have to make sure" I nodded "I best be off...got Transfiguration next. Goodbye Professor" he waved me off and I made my way to Transfiguration. I was with the Ravenclaws so this should be interesting.
