Sticky Situation - Sapphire

A few hours passed and I couldn't find Raven anywhere, and when I did, she would always run off. I wore a hoodie to cover my hair so no one could see how sad I felt. I sighed. Aaron and Jackie suggested we go to the library and do homework to take our minds off it. I had other plans. I smirked "You guys know how to pull a prank right?"

I don't know what had gotten into me. Some of that potion must have gone to my head because I was currently hiding behind a suit of armour with Aaron waiting for Raven to walk by. Jackie wanted no part in it, saying he's had enough of pranking for a lifetime. It wasn't anything major. I just learnt how to cast a sticking charm and charmed some of the hallway we where currently standing in so that anyone who steps on it will be stuck. I was trying to catch Raven so that I could talk to her but if anyone else got stuck in the process I wasn't gonna complain. And Peeves wasn't gonna snitch this time. I told him if he did I would tell the bloody Barron it was him that decided putting a net of water balloons above the great hall and letting it go on a bunch of third year girls would be an excellent idea. And no one would suspect me. Why? Because a sticking charm was an advanced fourth year spell (A/N I'm not sure if it is and i'm too lazy to look it up but in this case it is) "How where you able to learn an advanced fourth year charm!" Aaron asked as we hid. I shushed him

"Because I did" I whispered to him "Now shut it! Do you want to get us caught!"

"How you weren't a Ravenclaw I'll never know" He mumbled, I just rolled my eyes. It's not only Ravenclaw's that have brains. We waited but no one walked through the corridor. I huffed and turned

"Let's go, the charm will wear out..."

"ARG!" we heard a shout and I turned around. My face turned pale. I grabbed Aarons arm and I bolted for it. I had just accidentally pranked Sirius Black. I was going to die.

It only took a few hours for news to get around that Sirius had been pranked. I had been avoiding him as every time I saw him my hair turned purple, and he knew that meant fear, and would put the pieces together.

"Can you believe it!" A Gryffindor 5th year was saying as I passed their table at lunch" Sirius is going to get his own back!

"Does he know who did it?" his friend asked

"Not yet, but he will find out and prank the person in oblivion". I gulped. After lunch I decided to go to the library. I walked swiftly.

"Sapphire Bane" I stopped in my tracks, my hair turning purple. I didn't dare turn around. It was Sirius. He had come to kill me. He walked up to me and put a hand on my shoulder. I didn't look at his face, at least not until he began to laugh. My hair turned orange with my confusion. "That was epic!" he said with a grin

"How did you know it was me?" I asked

"You are the only person I know who could match my pranking level. You're a natural"

"Why are you laughing" I asked "Aren't you gonna prank me into oblivion?" Sirius shook his head

"Nah. Because it was you"

"It was an accident you know. I didn't mean to catch you" I explain sheepishly

"None the less that was epic" he told me "Out of curiosity who did you get to cast the sticking spell. Might give them a prank, Won't tell them you told me though" my hair turned light pink

"It.. um... was me" Sirius was gobsmacked

"How did you learn such an advanced charm?!" I shrugged

"I dunno I just looked it up, practiced and it worked" Sirius just smiled

"You are a natural Sapphire Bane" he said to me, giving me a high five. Then he turned curious "Who was the prank for" I sighed

"Raven" I told him "She's been ignoring and avoiding me and I want to talk to her. I'm assuming it's because I blamed her for being a snitch and she doesn't want to be my friend anymore" my hair turned a dark blue as my eyes filled with tears. I blinked them back. "I just wanted to apologise again" Sirius sighed

"I'll talk to her. I think I know why she's avoiding you. No promises she'll stop after I talk to her though" I just nodded. After bidding him farewell I headed to the library, my hair still a dark blue.
