Merry Christmas Wolfrick-Raven

Christmas day rolled about. Most of the other kids were excited, not me, it was a full moon tonight and I highly doubt that I would be getting any presents. I looked around the common room before sliding out and getting dressed "merry christmas Blake" she cawed at me as I placed a small tin of special worms in her cage. I got dressed and trudged to the common room, I noticed there was still a few presents left. I walked over and saw they were all addressed to me, I picked up the closest one to me. A small square box with navy blue wrapping paper, I frowned and opened it smiling at the item and the card "have fun...the Marauders" I picked up the bracelet and slipped it on my wrist, it was thick and had small spikes on it with a moving skull on it. I pulled the one next to it over to me and ripped it open. Inside was all my favourite sweets and some muggle drinks? I picked up the card and opened it
'hey Raven, hope you enjoy your gifts I asked dad and mum if they could send over a few muggle things for you to try, let me know what you think of them when I get back.

I sorted through the box before closing it and moving to the final three gifts. There was one with green and silver paper, I opened it and found a black cloak the inside was a dark grey. I glanced at the card and saw it was from Bella, a smaller box with green paper sat next to it. I opened it and found a ring with a emerald in it from Donna. I smiled at the gifts before looking at the final one, I didn't know who it belonged to. I picked it up and opened it. Inside was a card which I decided to open
'Have your gift, mutt!

Father & Mother'

I sighed and looked inside to find a dog collar. I growled and threw the card in the fire
"Hey Raven" I turned around and saw Bella I told her the password and to only enter while wearing something Slytherin "I thought you went home" she looked away "parents went on holiday...so I came back" she hugged me "merry christmas" I smiled "merry christmas and thank you for my gift...I love it" she pulled away "I should be thanming you as well" she pulled out a black rose carved from a black gem "how did you make this?" I chuckled "I had some help from professor Slughorn...the belladonna plant had to me crushed, drained, liquidised, crystallised and molded into this" she smiled and placed it back in it's case, I picked up the collar "from your parents?" I nodded "my brother wrote and said that his gift it arriving late, he said that i'll love it" I fastened the collar around my neck "why are you wearing it?" I laughed "meet me outside the forest tonight...I have something to show you" I walked out of the common room and walked to the great hall for something to eat.

Later that day

I stood outside the forest waiting for Bella to arrive, I sighed rubbing my hands together "Raven!" I turned aroubd and saw her running towards me "there you are...i've told Dumbledore where you are tonight so you don't have to worry about getting into trouble" we walked into the forest to a clearing near a small river "now, Bella, I must ask you not to panic or to run and most importantly not to tell anyone what you have witnessed tonight to anyone. You'll understand why" I stripped of my clothing and laid it neatly behind a tree, I glanced up at the moon and then back at Bella "don't be afraid" she nodded and the change soon came over me.

I fell to the ground once my bones were rearranged, my face deformed, my fur grew. I kneeled in front of Bella who showed fear but remained strong, she stepped forward "that's why they call you Wolfrick...that's why you are out of class every so often" she kneeled in front of me "you're a werewolf" I whined and howled softly "I accept you Raven, I will always accept you, you are my friend" she stood up and sat at the tree where my clothes were "will you come back here when you change back?" I nodded, fully aware that I was in my werewolf form, she smiled "then I will wait" I ran around but staying close to Bella in case something happened to her.

A few hours later

Morning was due to arrive any minute, I ran back to Bella and nudged her so that she'd wake up. She startled and got my clothes, the sun came up and the agonising process happened again. I laid naked on the ground, panting

"Cover me...help me...to...the...castle" she clothed me and helped me up. Supporting my weight on her, we walked through the forest to the castle. Once we got in, Madame Pomfry helped her carry me to my room and laid me on the bed, I sighed and looked at Bella "thank you" she smoothed my hair back "don't worry about it" I shifted "will you feed Blake when you have the chance?" She nodded. I sat up and took my shirt off "forgive me but it's better like this" I glanced at the window "would you mind opening that window slightly?" She opened it and sat down on the chair next to me "Wolrick" I smiled "hardly anyone know's that I'm a werewolf...but I always had a fascination for them that's where the nickname came from, that and Dragon Breath but that's another story" I turned my head "forgive me...but I want to sleep for a bit, you're more than welcome to stay or go the dorm but I will be her for the whole day until I am better" she grabbed a nearby book "i'll stay" I smiled and closed my eyes falling asleep.
