Chapter 14
Justin's Point of View
I pulled Natalie closer to me and deepened the kiss. Kissing her felt so good... We kissed for a long time, but then Natalie pulled away.
"Sorry..." she said giggling. "We're almost to the bottom."
I nodded and smiled at her. The guy in charge of the Ferris Wheel told us we were next to get out. Once we did, Natalie stood close to me, holding onto my arm. I looked around, wondering if anyone saw us making out up there. I doubt it... We were too high up.
Natalie started tugging at my arm. "Hey!" she said excitedly, "Let's check out that beach we saw!"
"Yeah. Good idea," I said. The beach was beside the amusement park, but we had to walk down a really rocky path to get to it. Trying to be a gentleman, I helped Natalie whenever she was scared she'd fall... I guess maybe this is the reason why the beach is empty. It's too much of a bitch to get to it. But me and Natalie eventually did, and it was worth it because the beach was clean and we had it all to ourselves.
I looked far out into the sea. The sun was setting. It was really beautiful. I sat down and looked up at Natalie. I patted the spot next to me. Natalie raised an eyebrow.
"What?" I asked.
"You don't care about getting sand all over you?" she asked.
"No," I said laughing.
"I do..." she said.
"Sit on my lap then," I offered.
"No it's okay. I'll just stand."
"Oh come on. It's not like you've never sat on my lap before," I said, winking. She laughed and carefully sat down on my lap. I leaned her back and held her head just above the sand. Realizing what I was doing, her eyes widened.
"You wouldn't dare!" she shouted.
"What? Dip your head in the sand?" I asked, smirking. I tilted her head a little more towards the sand.
"Justin!" she said, struggling to get out of my arms and off of my lap. I chuckled and held her still, turning her body around and kissing her. She kissed back. I got daring this time and licked her bottom lip. Knowing what I wanted, she opened her mouth, allowing me to slip my tongue in. I smiled into the kiss. We made out for a while but then she pulled away. I didn't wanna stop though. My lips traveled down to her neck.
"Justin..." Natalie said, pushing me away. I looked at her, confused.
"What's wrong?" I asked. I went to kiss her, but she pushed me away before my lips could reach hers.
"No, stop..." she said.
"What?" I asked. "Come on, let me kiss you."
"No," she said, trying to push me farther away from her.
I squinted my eyes at her, getting upset. "What the fuck?"
She sighed, getting up from my lap. "Don't act like this isn't wrong. You're dating my sister, Justin..."
Natalie started walking away, towards the rocky path from where we came from. I looked down. Selena... Fuck. I forgot all about her. I got up and rushed over to Natalie, grabbing her arm and stopping her.
"I'm sorry," I said. I sighed and let go of her arm. As soon as I did, she continued walking.
"I'm a horrible sister," she mumbled.
"No you're not..." I said. "And listen, I'm thinking about breaking up with Selena."
Natalie stopped walking and turned around, looking back at me as if I were stupid. "Now why the hell would you do that?" she asked. She looked annoyed, but I smiled and got closer to her, cupping her face in my hands and looking into her eyes.
"Because..." I whispered, "I really like you Natalie." I leaned in and kissed her. She pushed me away, and looked to the side.
"Well... I don't feel the same way," she said.
"You don't?" I asked.
"No..." she answered. She tried to continue walking, but I grabbed her arm stopping her and spun her around.
"Oh really? Then why did you kiss me on the Ferris Wheel?"
"Because you told me to," she said, looking down. She wouldn't make eye contact.
"So you didn't wanna kiss me? You only did it because I asked you too?"
"Yeah..." she said. I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Well that's bullshit. I know you wanted to and that's why you did. Why are you lying to me?"
"Justin," she said, looking up at me and into my eyes, "listen to me."
"What?" I asked, crossing my arms.
"I... I don't like you. I don't have any feelings for you whatsoever."
My heart sank. "Then why the fuck have you been kissing me all day?" I asked her, pissed off.
"Because you're a good kisser..."
Natalie's Point of View
I felt so bad lying to Justin. Obviously I really like him... But he can't know that! Because I can't get between him and my sister. That's not right. She loves him. What kind of sister would I be if I stole him from her?
After I told Justin the only reason I was kissing him all day was because he's a good kisser, he laughed and shook his head. Then he walked off, leaving me behind. I followed after him, trying to bottle up all my feelings. Trying to forget them...
Justin was silent the whole way driving to my house, and I didn't dare say anything to him. His eyes were squinted the whole way, as if he was both confused and hurt.
