Chapter 1

Selena's Point of View
"I didn't know you had a sister..." Justin said slowly, looking at a picture of me and my little sister, Natalie. "How old is she?" he asked.

"Who cares? Let's go shopping. Can you take me shopping?"

"She looks like she's my age," Justin said, ignoring my question. He was still looking at that picture of us.

"No she's not. She's a year younger," I said.

"So she's sixteen?"

"Yeah," I said, as I grabbed my purse. I rolled my eyes. Why does he care so much? "Anyway look, I really wanna go to the mall. Let's go."

He sighed, finally taking his eyes off the picture and looking at me. "To be honest Selena, I don't really want to."

"But I do, so come on."

"Selena..." he whined. I walked over to him and gently put my arms around his neck.

"Justin please?" I asked, looking into his eyes. I leaned in and gave him a kiss. And that's all it took for him to give in and agree to take me to the mall. As we walked out of my house and into his car, I smiled. I always get my way.

Justin's Point of View

I followed Selena around the mall, opening all the doors for her and paying for everything she wanted. That's right fellas. I treat my lady right.

"Justin, I want this," she said, admiring the dress in her hands. I nodded. She smiled then set it down and picked up another dress. It was the same dress, just in a different color. "And this too," she said. She walked over to the lady behind the cashier and set both dresses down. I walked over and took my wallet out.
"How much for these dresses?" I asked. The lady looked at the tag on one of the dresses.

"This one's seven hundred and eighty nine dollars," she said. Then she looked at the tag on the other dress. "And, this one is too..." she said, slowly. "You know these dresses are the same, right?"

I looked at Selena. She was looking at the lady, shaking her head. "No they aren't. That one's in red and that one's in yellow," Selena explained. I looked at the lady. She raised an eyebrow. I shrugged and handed her my credit card. Selena squealed as she took the bag with her dresses from the lady. She looked at me with a big smile on her face. "I love you Justin," she said, but before I could say that I loved her too, she quickly added, "now come on. I saw some other stuff I want."

I sighed. I was getting tired of following her around. She handed me the bag with the two dresses I just bought her. I looked at the other bags I was holding with all the other stuff I got her. "Selena, babe, we've been doing this for hours..." I said, "how about now we go see a movie or something?"

"But I'm not done shopping," she said. She grabbed my arm and pulled me out the store we were in and into another.

Natalie's Point of View

I was in my room, looking through my closet for something to wear. Austin just texted me, asking to hang out. Austin's my boyfriend, so whatever I wear tonight needs to be something I look really cute in... I tried on a couple shirts, but none of them looked nice with the jeans I was wearing. I went in Selena's room and looked through her closet. I saw a shirt I could wear, but it was on the top shelf. As I was trying to reach for it, I heard someone coming up the stairs.

Justin's Point of View

"Selena, I'm putting all these bags in your room," I yelled, as I walked up the stairs. I walked down the hall to Selena's room. Once I got inside her room, I saw a girl reaching for something in Selena's closet. I guess that's her sister...I put down Selena's shopping bags. Her sister turned around and smiled. She looked a little like Selena.

"Want me to help you with that?" I asked her. She nodded. "What is it you want from up there?" I asked, as I walked over.

"That shirt. See that shirt? The blue one," she said, as I was looking at the shirts on the top shelf. I tried reaching for the shirt she wanted. I couldn't reach it. She laughed.

"Yeah, I couldn't either. It's okay," she said. She left the room and came back with a little stool. She set it down and stood on top of it.

Natalie's Point of View

As I was reaching for the shirt, I felt him gently put his hands on my waist. Woah. Wasn't expecting that... It startled me a little, and I lost my balance on the stool. I heard him laugh under his breath, as he helped me regain my balance. "Sorry," he said, "I just don't want you to fall." I smiled. He's so sweet. I turned my head, smiling at him.

Justin's Point of View

I really like her smile.

"Thanks," she said, smiling.

I smiled back at her. "No problem."

She went back to reaching for the shirt. As soon as she got it, I took my hands off her and she hopped off the stool.

"So you're Selena's little sister?" I asked.

She nodded. "I'm Natalie."

"Nice meeting you," I said.

"You too."

"So what did you need that shirt for?" I asked her.

She shrugged. "I'm going out tonight and I needed something to wear."

"And who said you could borrow my shirt?"

We both turned and saw Selena, standing in the doorway. She walked in and sat on her bed.

"Sorry...I couldn't find anything else to wear..." Natalie said. Selena laughed.

"I was just kidding. I don't care," Selena said. She put one of her hands up to her face and looked at her nails. "So where are you going?" she asked, admiring her nails.

Natalie smiled. "To that little park down the street," she said, happily.

"This late?" Selena asked, looking up at her and raising an eyebrow.

"It's not that late," Natalie said, glancing at the alarm clock on Selena's nightstand. "It's only a quarter to seven. And...I won't be out long. I'm just going for a walk. With Austin. He's picking me up soon. I have to hurry."

Natalie started to walk out of Selena's room. Selena sighed. "He's too old for you," she murmured. Natalie heard her, stopped at the doorway of Selena's room, and turned around.

"Selena. He's only two years older."

"But that's too old for my lil sis..." Selena said. She looked back at her nails. "Mom doesn't want you dating anyway..." she said.

Natalie sighed. "I know..." she began, "but I really like him." Natalie bit her lip. "You won't tell Mom, right?"

Selena put her hand down and looked at her. "No...but I really do think he's too old for you," she said.

Natalie rolled her eyes. "Just promise you won't say anything, okay?"

"Whatever," Selena said. As she walked out of Selena's room, Selena looked at me.

"He's too old for her," she said. "He's eighteen. He should be dating someone...my age."

I shrugged. "We're two years apart too."
