a week passed and after the kiss they didn't talk that much. both of them know that it means something and that after it their isn't just a normal friends relationship anymore. but, they have more important things to think about.

tomorrow is the day.

it really is a dangerous operation and Phil never felt so scared. he surely will not die if it goes bad, but it's his last occasion and he can't lose it.

"hey, Phil." Dan says distracting him.

"yes?" he asks.

"you're acting strange." he notices. "are you nervous?"

"nervous? Jesus, I never felt this nervous in my entire life." Phil giggles sarcastically. "are you?"

"I'm not because I mean, you'll go first so if it goes bad I'll not do it." Dan jokes. "just kidding."

"let's hope so."

"don't worry, it's going to be great. and you'll see my face firstly so you're lucky." Dan smiles.

"I can't wait. and.. Dan?"

"mh?"

"I want to sleep with you tonight."

Dan laughs. "why?"

"I'm scared."

"of?"

"of the operation, damn I'm so scared." Phil chuckles. "and I had nightmares yesterday, and the day before, so."

"okay." Dan just says, he literally doesn't mind.

"can I come there?"

"come here."

Phil does it, trying to not fall on the ground in the process. he lies next to Dan, not that nearly because he still feels weird. but he really wants to hug him right now.

and Dan does it, he thinks that maybe Phil needs it and it's true. Phil hugs him back and places his head on Dan's chest.

"you really like being cuddled, don't you?" Dan whispers.

"it feels warm."

Dan caresses his back slightly. "did you think about the other's day kiss?"

"actually, yes."

"do you think that it's, wrong?"

"wrong? why?"

"I don't know."

Phil chuckles. "there's nothing wrong with being gay."

"as you say."

"is this what liking someone feels like?"

"what do you mean?"

"I mean." Phil smiles. "I have never had butterflies in my stomach, and now I think I want to vomit because you're next to me and I'm exploding."

"I've never liked someone, so I don't know." Dan pauses.

"let's sleep." Phil proposes, he doesn't want to talk anymore.

"goodnight."

Phil lies on the other side of the bed and closes his eyes trying to sleep. even if it's hard because his mind is a mess right now.

"why don't we just kiss again?" Phil asks, Dan doesn't answer. "I mean, I told you that I like you and you ignored me."

he turns around and continues to talk. "we should talk about it."
