phan oneshots (book two)

Starry night

a/n: a month without uploading she comes back with a shitty oneshot

Dan's nervous, he's being straightening his hair since minutes and he doesn't know if he should call Phil or not. well, he doesn't know if he's busy with someone else and if he's actually going out with his friends.. it would be pretty embarrassing.

but, he can't wait forever.

and he doesn't want to wait till 11pm so he takes his phone and finds Phil's number, then he calls him. he didn't even reflect of what to say.

"Dan?"

"Phil? hi."

"hi." he lets out a chuckle who makes Dan immediately smile and feel like he's about to die.

"um, sorry if I'm calling you now but.. you busy?"

"nope."

"then we should." he pauses thinking of what to say. "well, if you're not busy and you want to see me we-"

"do you want to go and look at the stars together?"

"yeah." Dan smiles. "it would be amazing."

"I was waiting for you to call me." Phil chuckles. "like, I would have called you anyways, but I was hoping for you to do it first. thank you."

"no problem. I'll come to your house then." Dan proposes. "tell me when you're ready."

"give me ten minutes."

"okay, see you."

"bye bye." Phil chuckles and ends the call.

as he knew that this is going to be a special night, he wants to emotionally prepare himself. but he needs to wear something before.

Dan, instead, is already ready as he was paranoid and he got dressed about one hour ago. so he goes downstairs and waits.

"are you going to see the stars?" his mum asks noticing that he got dressed well. "the TV said that you can watch them this night."

"yeah."

"alone?"

"with a guy."

"oh, your boyfriend." she chuckles. "good luck."

"he's not my boyfriend." Dan tells her. "not until this evening, if he asks me."

she smiles and sits next to him. "you know that I always hated the guys you went out with. but he's cute, you should ask him."

"no."

"you're still too shy." she laughs and goes away. "I have to clean the kitchen so see you later."

"okay." Dan sobs. at least talking with her helped him but now he's even more anxious and he just wants to be with Phil so he can calm down.

he goes out and looks at the sky. it's really wonderful, he has never seen stars this clearly and this good before.

Phil's house is five minutes far from his so he walks checking his phone and randomly playing some crossy road to distract himself.

as he's arrived, he hopes that Phil's parents are not in the house because seeing him like this would be terrible and would make things awkward. he press the bell.
