The group of teens pulled into Globe Cinema. The four in the back seat were glad to finally get out. There was a long line waiting for tickets. The group were lucky though. Mark was waiting for them towards the front of the line. He waved them over.
"Hey, guys!" Mark waved them over.
"Mark, hey!" Eric exclaimed at the sight of his best friend. Julie and Ivy gave each other a knowing look.
"I've been waiting for you, guys. We're almost at the front of the line. We should be some of the first in the theater." Mark told them.
Soon they were at the front of the line. They payed and got into the theater's lobby.
"We're going to find seats for everyone, you three save a spot in line for us." Anthony told them as he pointed to Julie, Teagan, and Romeo.
"Alright," Romeo told him. Anthony disappeared into theater seventeen along with Ivy, Mark, and Eric. Romeo, Teagan, and Julie stood in the long concessions line.
"I have to use the bathroom. I'll be right back." Teagan announced as she made her way to the bathroom.
Romeo and Julie stood in line, both being rather quiet and feeling awkward. Julie looked around trying not to make eye contact with the curly haired teen. Romeo opened his mouth, probably to say some sort of line but he never got the chance. Someone from behind him spoke up.
"Juliet Hunter? Romeo Cameron?" A cheerful and sweet voice said from behind them. They turned around. It was a familiar blond haired girl. It was Emily Baker, from school. Right next to her was her best friend, Alicia Ritcher.
"Oh hi, Emily and Alicia." Julie said.
"What movie are you guys seeing? Is it that new romantic comedy?" Emily pried. Julie and Romeo gave each other a look.
"Oh no! We're not together! I mean we are here together, but we're not on a date! I mean we came here with friends together but we're not dating!" Julie rambled. Romeo rolled his eyes. Now it was Emily and Alicia's turn to give each other a look.
"Okay... What she means is we're here with some friends. I'm friends with her friends so we're all here together." Romeo told the girls in a calm and cool tone.
"What are you watching?" Alicia asked curiously.
Romeo and Juliet answered at the same time. "The Guardian of Magic."
"Hey so are we! Have you read the books?" Alicia stated.
"Julie has. I haven't." Romeo said.
"Yeah they are some of my favorite books." Julie smiled at the thought of the book series.
"Are you excited for the last one?" Alicia asked in a thrilled tone. She clearly was eggar for it. Alicia was known for being a bookworm.
"Of course! I'm siked!" Julie much preferred the change in conversation from her and Romeo to The Guardian of Magic.
"Which is your favorite so far?" Alicia asked. Julie thought for a moment as Romeo gave Emily a look that said. 'Can you believe them?'. She nodded in understanding.
"Definitely the first one, because it starts everything off and has a better plot line. The second one is great too, we meet Alice and Mr. Erikson but it's a little less adventurous." Julie said honestly.
Alicia nodded in agreement. "I totally agree."
Romeo didn't know why he was still listening. He wasn't even interested in the conversation. He hadn't read the books.
Emily seemed to be bored with simply talking about the book series to because she decided to change the subject slightly.
"Ooh, Julie, which do you like better: Luna and Jackson or Zeke and Alice?" Emily asked turning back to the subject of romance. "Wait please don't tell me you ship Luna and Zeke." Emily scrunched up her nose.
Juliet shook her head. "Definitely not. They are like brother and sister. I love Zeke and Alice. Their first meeting was adorable but Luna and Jackson have got to be the best. They've got chemistry and they've been friends for ten years. They have to be number one." Alicia and Emily nodded, agreeing with Luna's statement.
Romeo turned to Julie and raised an eyebrow. "I thought you didn't like Jackson and Luna together? I thought you said that while we were Skyping?"
"That's not what I said- Oh look they're back!" Julie noticed that Ivy and Eric were back to claim their spots in line. Mark and Anthony were presumably saving the seats in the theater.
