Aubrey Karew

Aubrey Karew is a vampire born in 382 b. c. he is an anciant... he is in 2 books "in the forests of the night" and "demon in my view" he has black hair, black eyes and fair skin, he dressed gothic and his blood mother is Ather he has one fledgeling Jessica who is also his girlfriend. His 2 main enemies are Fala who is over 5000 years old and Risika who is nearly 300. He hates Risika because she hates him and they get in a fight and he ends up getting humilieted and Fala keeps on trying to kill his fledgeling Jessica.

Anne Rice - The vampire chronicles

*Akasha

Queen of the Damned, the first vampire created. Akasha was originally a Queen in Egypt, she and her King Enkil wanted their people to turn away from their cannibalistic ways, she is fascinated by the spirits of the supernatural and it is one of these that leads to the creation of vampires. When the King and Queen are attacked by supporters of cannibalism her soul rises from her body, as it does the spirit Amel joins with it and re-enters her body through the wounds fusing with her heart and brain. She is the life force of the vampires, which would all be destroyed, if she were to die. Akasha is however destroyed by Maharet who gives her heart and brain to her twin Mekara who eats them and so takes in Amel becoming the new life force of the vampires.

*Armand

            Armand was made a vampire at the age of seventeen, he has auburn hair, and is described as having the face of an angel. He is a fledgling of Marius who took him under his wing as an apprentice in Venice. Armand destroys Claudia in an attempt to gain Louis as his companion. Near the end of Memnoch Armand goes into the sun to destroy himself but is back telling his story in the book The Vampire Armand.

*Claudia

The child Vampire who can´t grow up, she becomes the ´Daughter´ of Lestat and Louis after Louis finds her and takes his first human drink for four years. Lestat finds the child and brings her back to Louis, he drinks again and Lestat continues and makes her a Vampire. Claudia has blue eyes and blond hair and with beautiful clothes gives the appearance of a doll but she grows in her mind as she is trapped inside a child's body. When she finds Lestat is responsible for making her what she is she attempts to kill him and she and Louis flee New Orleans to Europe. It is when they go to Paris that they come across the theater of the Vampires. It is this coven, where Armand has Claudia and Madeleine placed in the sun.

*Daniel Molloy

Daniel Molloy is the boy reporter that listens to Louis story. After hearing Louis tell of being a vampire Daniel imagines it to be a wonderful thing and goes in search of Lestat using clues from the tape of Louis story. Once he finds Lestat’s house he also finds Armand who wishes to learn about the 20th century through Daniel. They become companions but Armand will not give Daniel that which he desires – immortality. They separate and when they are reunited Armand sees that Daniel is weak and may die he gives Daniel the dark gift.

*David Talbot

David Talbot was the Superior General of the Talamasca the watching group of scholars that document paranormal activity. After coming into contact with and becoming a friend of Lestat David continues to refuse to be made a vampire. David was born in 1917 and so is in his seventies when encountering Lestat but due to the events portrayed in the tale of the body thief David’s original body dies and he is left in the body of a 26-year-old. It is with this body that Lestat makes him a vampire. He is always a companion for Lestat but he does roam with the other vampires form time to time.
