We settled ourselves down at the dining table.
Mother and I were next to each other,
While brother and you were in front of us.I made sure you were directly opposite me.
So if you tried anything fishy.
I had a good angle to boot you in.
And I was wearing 6 inch heels.
So things would work in my favour,
Regardless of how powerfully I kick.Dinner began and went on smoothly.
Nothing too strange or suspicious happened.
Well, nothing I noticed.
But who knew what was bubbling and brewing inside that devilish mind of yours.
Nothing good.
That much I'm sure of.My mother and brother learnt quite a lot about you that night,
None of it I believed,
Because I knew you.But they didn't.
So they indulged themselves in your stories,
All the lies that you spoke so fluently,
Ones that even the least gullible person would believe,
Because you were that good.
