Chapter 12: Happy Birthaween! Part 2

Third Person POV

The energy level of the party was rising as the guests start to arrive. Anyone who was anyone was going to be there. Maroon 5 song Love Somebody blasting through the room, really added to the rising energies.

Over by the staircase stood a very anxious alpha. Who wouldn't be if they were in his place? He had to meet two sets of parents, not one but two the pressure was really on. If that wasn't bad enough one set were the king and queen of the werewolf community and he had to tell them both that he is the lucky bastard that will claim their daughter.

That alone will cause for an eventful night. No need for entertainments when you got the alpha being drilled by two sets of parents.

Upstairs we had the birthday girl ready to rip her skirt off and again no need to pay for entertainment.

The crowd was really into the song. No one expected the werewolf leaders and the serious guests to be enjoying the music choice but they are.

The song came to a close as Dalia and Ryan made their way to the top of the staircase.

"Good Evening everyone. Thank you for coming and celebrating with us the 18th of birthday Athena Hylton." This came from the beautiful woman dressed in a show stopping black gown named Dalia. Standing beside her was mate who wore his black tuxedo well.

"Before our celebrant comes out though we must make knowledge of her parents. She was truly blessed at birth because she has two sets of parents supporting her tonight." Ryan continued where his mate left off. "Please welcome Christina and Morgan Hylton."

"and King Darrius and Queen Meredith." Dalia finished.

Now usually no one would think a person would get two sets of famous parents so you know the gossip levels was high in the room. However, out of respects for the parents the room went quiet as they came out. The moms were beautifully adorned and the men were looking razor sharp.

"Please give a warm welcome to my girl, our Luna and future queen."

Give Me Everything by Pitbull feat Ne-Yo comes on as Dalia finished her sentence. The large golden doors concealing the birthday girl was pulled open by two guards dressed in there James Bond-like tuxedo.

A masked Tena slowly walks through the doors taking her place in between her parents. She hugged the parents she grew up knowing then slowly turned to see the ones she wished she had known.

The love, affection and sadness of not being able to be near her all those years were displayed on their faces and it caused tears to come through their eyes as they embraced each other.

So much love was being spread and the beloved mate was getting jealous from the view even if they were just her parents that she hasn't seen for 18 years. Any second now you can expect the entertainment to begin.

Nick's POV

She was more than exceptionally beautiful and I didn't need any mate bond to see that. She literally took my breath away the minute she stepped out those doors. It took every fibre in my being as well as will power not to climb up those stairs and take her away before she made it over to her family.
